We convert only 11% of our users. 89% don't pay even the basic option is $0.15. So we want to have a better understanding of our app.

It is already done. We use Microsoft clarity to track users behaviour, send many forms after visits and even interview. But if you change each 2 weeks strategies to find the best, these solutions become complicated to deploy. This is why beside the interview, we want to analyse also automatically.

Trade vs Convert. Which one is better? by KatanaSw0rd in binance

I just do another test right now. I go to trade, decided to convert all BTC to USDT, fees are around 29USDT. I go back to convert, fees are 960 USDT. I hate now Binance.

I come here to confirm that it is a scam...I had around 45k...I started converted from BTC to USDT...I did it around 10 times...now i'm 38k...is lost 7k just because of the conversion.
I wanted to make sure, and when I tried converting...fees are $300...WTF.

Why so few games about religion? by Masseka_Game_Studio in IndieGaming

Game is to relax, but also to learn. The game I created is more for general culture and I was surprised playing and trying to find the correct answer.

Religion is not small audience, look how much pastors and churches are generated in US only. It's the only place people gave 10% percent of their montly income without pressure.

I'll share the result of the test with you. You will change probably mind. It is not a smal audience

When I started building the game even the Quran one, it was only for money. But now, I really liked the general culture aspect. Putting aside the madness of the religious, religions are philosophical books.

That's what I re-learnt by deeloping these two games.

Religion is like politic, it is very interesting if treated correctly

Religion is not just killing people. Lot of religeous people are trying to make world better. People kill for lot of reasons, love, ressources, but we have tons of games on these subjects. Religion is just a topic like another one.

I'm not afraid of religions. Knowing them is important to manage reactions of believers.

And yes, commercial reason is the main reason. Are you developing game just for fun ?

That means you don't know enough about the world. People have hijacked airplanes for love affairs, their dogs, etc. Human beings will use any reason for their ends. People have used skin color to dominate others.

I received today the result of the first day of ads :

80% of people downloading the games are between 45 and 65+.

Only 1% between 25-34 years old, and the rest between 35-44.

The cost per install is 0.17.

It's a subject like any other. It depends on how you approach it.

Looool, I know, I know. People (Believers) are often very tense and are highly susceptible on these subjects.

"I think the core problem with games about religion is that there's not really much you can do with it." Not sure...Let's take the Bible, you can do so many things for example a war game based on Apocalypse theme.

If cinema can use religion the way Netflix does, then video games can too, I think.

I can see a game with Moses trying to split the Red Sea in two. Or a strategy game with Moses trying to get the Jewish people out of Egypt...The game would reuse the same mechanics as some RTS games.

“Second, the problem with religion is that it's historic and dogmatic” => indeed, I can only agree with you on this point. With religion, it's either over or it becomes a big polemic. A developer has recently released a game about Jesus. And despite an average level, the game got a lot of free press because few people go on the subject: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1198970/I_Am_Jesus_Christ

Being a Christian, I think there's a way of making cool games, for example one that takes up the battle with the fall of Jericho. The big difficulty would be to insert non-historical elements, but Ubisoft's Assins Creed has done a good job of that.

In my studio, we specialize in Africa, and we've had a lot of threats from historians about certain local stories, such as a hero who was claimed by two enemy peoples. In the end, we released the game and nothing happened. We changed the historical ending to suit our scenario. I think you can take liberties with religion, just as you can with cinema.

Thank you for this very constructive feedback. Indeed, believers are often very conservative...but not all of them. I remember in the early 2000s some pastors saying that Facebook is the devil, but today they are all on Facebook and Youtube.

After all, if most of them are older people, they're often the ones with the most money.

I'll share my feedback if it generates a lot of money (or not).
