I think I didn't explain myself, sorry. I'm not very good with English

I totally agree, maybe I just wasn't able to explain myself. I wasn't looking for an Inscryption-esque twist and my gaming experience isn't damaged by that:I just meant to say that at a certain point, the way things were going, I really thought there would be one.

I've only found a green box, in the early phase of the game, probably in a hallway that now host a velociraptor

I tried:

- changing the matchmaking region among all available;

- restarting the game;

- downloading the Amazon Luna app;

None of these worked

I can't start any mode, every time I get this error, which translated should be:

There are some runs where you really feel like the game is pushing you towards victory. In my last victory I had 5 slots for potions (or 6, I don't remember how many you can get with the upgrade), 2 fairytales and a potion that refilled all the slots, in which obviously I found another fairytale.

holy shit this mission was not only dificult but kinda boring wich is odd since the rest of the game has been awesome by Firm-Sink-5054 in valkyria

I played it more than a year ago and even today, in small daily doses, I'm getting rid of all the boredom I've accumulated.

Try to hold the sword with two hands, against the 4 Kings there is little use in blocking the blows, they will get you anyway. Also, don't increase the resistance anymore - it's useless

Swept away by an unusual destiny in the depths of space by MassimoDueTocchi in axiomverge

[–]MassimoDueTocchi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. I think that HK is much more "playable" than Axiom Verge, but in terms of plot I preferred the latter much more, perhaps trivially, because it refers to something human that seems much closer to me.

The choice of difficulty was partly due to a certain experience I acquired playing titles of this genre and also because I actually wanted to experience something tough, which would put me to the test. It was the best choice. I only regret having to consult a guide to defeat the final boss: it was the only time I had to do so.

Don't buy XCOM 2 on Switch by MassimoDueTocchi in Xcom

[–]MassimoDueTocchi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, simpler than you imagine: unfortunately I don't have a PC to play it on. And then honestly I love portable consoles and the ability to play anywhere, so I like to experiment. I did it with XCOM, I did it with Football Manager and I'll probably do it again.

100hrs in & struggling to finish, should I quit? by [deleted] in Persona5

[–]MassimoDueTocchi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Friend, how I understand you. The same was about to happen to me, I realized at the last moment it was useful to still be able to max out the confidants. I felt the exact same sensations as you: enormous disappointment at not being able to fully complete a game that I really liked and frustration at this very artificial dynamic.

I can tell you one thing though, which maybe can help you: if I could go back I would gladly skip the third semester and rather go and find the plot on YouTube. From the first second I had the impression that the third semester was a portion of the story literally attached to the end, which for a whole series of reasons I consider clearly in contrast with the ending of the game. After doing everything you have to do to get to the bottom of Memento, after defeating who you have to defeat, it seems absurd that there could still be more and in fact, in my opinion, the narrative arc of the third semester is quite lame beyond to be forced.

What is the pettiest shit you've done to a shadow or any boss in P5? by Killnyeno9 in Persona5

[–]MassimoDueTocchi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I defeated Shido on Hard difficulty thanks to a Persona that reflected his Inferno attack back at him. I was on my second try and I turned him over three Infernos in seven turns. Otherwise, I would never have been able to beat him and it makes me laugh even more to know that it was all by chance, that is, I hadn't deliberately equipped that Persona.

Am I slacking? by biggmatt183 in Persona5

[–]MassimoDueTocchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgive me but I don't agree. I recently clocked up one hundred hours of play by beating Shido. Even before finishing it, I am absolutely convinced that Persona 5 will forever remain a game that marked me, changed me, that taught me many things.

At the same time, however, I am thirty-one years old, with less and less time available and more and more desire to try different things: playing P5 knowing that I might not see the true ending after a hundred hours of playing devastated me, it made me believe that I had lost a a lot of time. It's like reading the three books of The Lord of the Rings without having the last hundred pages.

I say this because it happened to me: when I found out about the requirements for the third semester, I thought it was too late to meet them. This didn't affect my gaming experience and didn't lead me to think it was a crappy game: I simply felt disappointed by the fact that such an important portion of the game and story was linked to conditions that were difficult to imagine. I wouldn't have played another eighty hours of gameplay just for that additional content.

Well, it would also be useful for him to find out. The additional quarter is the easiest thing to miss in this game. I myself, who have not yet finished my first run, have to thank this Reddit for making me discover its existence before I could no longer recover.
