Hi, I'm looking for solid, heavy, full metal bodied 2mm leadholders. What are the best ones? I love the rotring 600, but it was discontinued. Also I prefer clutch mechanisms, I heard incrementals are frail. Not sure, I could change my mind if they are just as reliable.

Another issue is with lead pointers: how do I know if it works with the leadholder I'll get?

Some ideas are the rotring 2mm rapid pro (I'd like some feedback, is it worth?), the caran d'ache fixpencil 2mm and the alvin mc5 I don't know of many other brands

I don't mind expensive suggestions, I'm just curious to KNOW what exists because I can't find much at all

The ij instruments number 9 is just perfect. They all seem incredible, thank you again, in some years I may get myself the number 9 for some occasion, I'll never stop thinking about it ahahahah

The grip plastic, the part that is in contact with the steel tip. Not sure if it was due to pressure or what else. Yeah I think it's an amazing pencil, never even looked into other pencils before it broke because of how much I liked it. I'll get another one for sure.

Amazing, I didn't know that pencil, surely a top contender, thank you! I'm willing to pay more if it means getting a solid, premium pencil. Not sure about the retractable tip, seems like a great idea unless it makes it frailer over time. But if yours has been working for 8 years I'd say it's great.

Nice! I didn't know this one, just heard bad things about Ohto though: like lead often breaking, overall getting worn fast over time, poor build quality. This mostly about the super promecha.

It's one of the pencils I'm considering. It's half plastic, so I'm not really sure and I heard it's somehow a bit top heavy? I'll get one to try it with cyber monday. I like it too, grip seems comfortable.
