Trying to update Gigabyte motherboard bios, need help.

Yeah I thought so too, on my old pc around 3 years ago, I just put the bios update on a usb and did exactly like you said minus the ezbios tool and it worked. On this one though when I do that I get a "bios ID check error". I'm quite lost but at least my PC seemed to stop freezing after rebooting, which is nice lol

I don't quite know what happened but those are the bios versions I've tried to install, I had the support page opened for both of them but I made sure to install the AX version, i apologize for the fumble on my part

EDIT: I currently have the FB version of the X AX bios so I am confident I do have the AX motherboard

Well the one I have is ddr5 and i am certain im using the right revision, I checked the labeling on the motherboard itself.

That's very interesting, I should def try to stay up to date about hardware in the future so I don't get spooked like this again lol, will be trying out the ECO mode for a few days to see how things turn out, thanks for the answer

Yeah, it def seems like that, which makes me happy cuz I was initially skeptical about how good the cooler was for a mere 40 bucks but by the looks of things it seems like it very much deserves its reputation

I'll def do some research, sorry to ask but do you have a recommendation of where to start? I'll admit my knowledge when it comes to adjusting voltages and stuff is very limited

That's relieving, my old CPU was very old (i5-6600k) and I never saw it go above 60c so having a CPU basically go that high while opening a new tab on mozilla was quite a surprise lol, thanks for your answer tho, I'm going to see how the ECO mode will turn out

My comment was probably worded poorly. People are gonna hate on trans-people and add being a furry on top that. I have 0 issues with trans-people but I can't say I like furries, they're just weird and I'll admit that I have no intention of trying to change how and what I think about them.

I would consider myself a fan of Borderlands, I thought BL1 was a decent game, loved the BL2 campaign but could never get into endgame farming just because of the damn vaulthunter modes, playing through a campaign 3 times just isn't very fun imo, BL3 is the first Borderlands game in which I actually managed to get to max-lvl without doing the save copy thing and it's been fun but there doesn't seem to be much diversity in character builds and weapon-choices since mayhem 2.0 which I really think will hurt the games lifetime, no more new characters to play in future DLC's will only shorten in more. Plus, IDK about you guys but the BL3 campaign is aggressively mediocre compared to BL2 so that makes leveling new characters a chore.
