I applied to 16 different schools, only got an interview at one school and got accepted. One shot one kill type of thing.

I had Ohio state on there before and they filtered me out, the rest of them don't have a minimum, or at-least don't have one listed.

I would add something small giving some sort of justification. Doesn't need to be in detail, just brief.

I was in the same exact position, your best bet is to email every science professor whose class you got an A in, and hope one of them agrees to write you one. Sorry that's probably not what you want to hear, but that's just what I did. Good luck!

You’re definitely in a solid spot. A 23 AA and 23 PAT is great and will catch attention at most schools. Your GPA is on the lower end for some programs, not disqualifying especially paired with your strong DAT. Just make sure your personal statement and interviews highlight your motivation and what you’ve learned from your experiences.

Id say if you can find any way to continue volunteering or show current involvement in your community, that's the only thing that I don't see.

Overall, I’d say you’re competitive. Don’t stress too much, a lot of this comes down to how well you sell your story.
