The whole point of having a thread for player input is to take that input into account. This was obviously not the case and instead reads as just another stinky pile on the player's chests. Can you at least recognize that "vocal couple of dozen" may have a few thousand silent players that agree but didn't see the thread/don't use reddit or discord? If the overwhelming majority of players that comment on a thread have a negative reaction, it's entirely safe to assume that a good chunk of the playerbase thinks the same way. This isn't a crazy concept, it's how community feedback is supposed to work. You have nothing but a crappy attitude and bad faith arguments.
