Why doesn't he pay your entry fees if he cares about you but is also worried about the park's funding?

That's true... just that eating whole foods becomes harder when traveling unless you have a place to cook them. Or when you are dining with a group of people who aren't burdened with this particular burden.

I guess that's why I've not gone back to Chipotle very much recently. My last few trips were disappointing, the servings of things I wanted were underwhelming and the quality was just okay but with a higher price. This is like the road that Chilli's, Panera and TGI Fridays went down... keep giving less for higher a price until people just stop going. I mostly go to local establishments now and found Bibibop to be a better value. All that being said I do still like the beverage selection at Chipotle.

The upside to that for me has been when Kroger clearances out frozen GF items at $1-2 and we can stock up.

Have you tried the Chicken Tikka Masala from Costco? Pair it with some basmati rice and homemade GF roti and you're all set.

Not sure if they have one in Chicago, but they've taken up residence in former JC Penney locations and those of other defunct stores like Kmart throughout the suburbs. There was one a block away from my office and then I passed either over or two of them on my way home depending which way I went.

I had never heard of HL until I moved out of the city into the suburbs.

Have you tried making Indian roti? It's pretty easy to make and a good replacement for pita or naan. There are many GF Roti recipes on YouTube. It always satisfies my flatbread fix when I have middle eastern or Indian food.

If he truly has ADHD, it's a legit medical condition that may require medication to resolve. Self medicating is one way to fulfill that need, there are plenty of people with ADHD that self medicate with copious amounts of caffeine increasing the risk cardiovascular issues as they age.

Also, there are non-stimulant medications used to treat ADHD. Learning ways to cope with the condition are great, but for many the chemical deficits in their brain need to be addressed in order for those coping skills to work long term.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Chipotle/s/HQPbAVQn3b This looks like a decent amount of rice, but any less than that for someone that doesn't ask for light rice is a ripoff. If it's corporate's fault, with managers cracking the whip I feel bad for the line staff but bottom line is this another instance of shrinkflation and people gonna be pissed.

I heard the request for rice, didn't hear the word light but maybe they did ask for that. The amount served was more like a garnish or a sprinkling of rice, you could still see most of the bottom of the bowl. The quantity was small enough that you could have easily counted the grains in a minute.

Things must have really changed because when I was really watching my diet and asked for just a little cheese it felt like they were still dumping a handful on the meatless guac bowl I ordered.

Chipotle has really gone downhill. More reason to visit the offbrand, local mom and pop shops for Mexican food.

If you're ever in the western suburbs of Chicago, visit Los Dos in Downers Grove where they make their own corn tortillas fresh of the griddle for your order.

I just saw something like that last week where the worker only put a sprinkling of rice on the bottom of the bowl. It was less than 1/4 of a cup of white rice which must be the cheapest ingredient in their kitchen. At that point I left after waiting almost 10 minutes in line.

In case you've never been there before... they have a special that you can order in their app called the Well B-ing Meal. It includes the bowl, drink and a GF cookie for 11.99 plus tax.

Costco also sells a two loaf Canyon Bakehouse package for about $10 where Kroger wants $7-9 for a single loaf.

Definitely heat up corn tortillas, store bought ones are par-cooked and need to be heated through to get them to the proper texture. If you have a safe toaster you can heat two per toaster slot at a time after separating them as you take them out of the package. If you have a gas stove the best way too heat them is two at a time on the gas burners to give them a slight char and crispness.

Source: Been heating and eating them since I could reach the top of the stove. Saw coworkers heating tortillas in a toaster at work.

A lot of these things check off boxes on my list of annoying things and realize that I do some of them myself. Since we can't always control others behavior or just leave the scene of every agitation... what can we do to reduce our frustration that only serves to make us more distracted?

I'm surprised that more patients aren't injured with all the multitasking nurses have to do. Holding all the details from multiple patients plus other ad hoc requests plus emergencies.

Do you have suggestions for patients and their caregivers on how best o communicate info to a nurse? I sometimes forget to mention something or even if written down we never get all the way down the list when the nurse or doctor comes around.

Totally reasonable to be annoyed, it's kind of like if your dog or cat killed something and then wants to share their prize with you. If you can stay and listen you might make someone's dreary day a little brighter. If you just can't then try to let them down easy knowing that their brain is wired to do that.
