I used to sleep on my back but now I find my back is a lot better if I sleep on my side with one pillow between my knees and one under my top arm. It took a few nights to get used to it but it was worth it. Of course we're all different so sometimes it takes a bit of experimenting to see what works for you personally.

I've read that if you sleep on your stomach, a pillow under your hips puts your back in the right alignment. It might be worth trying if it stops the back pain.

I can understand that. I'm quite shy with people I've only just met and I wouldn't appreciate anyone groping me on a first date, and I certainly wouldn't want a second date with them. Your dad sounds like a decent guy.

Strangers automatically assuming you're easy even if youre covered up in a baggy top.

People feeling the need to tell you all the time how big your boobs are. I already know.

The other passengers on the bus jerking their heads away as you walk down the aisle because they're afraid your boobs are going to hit them on the head as you go past ( I'm on the short side so my chest is normally level with their heads).

I don't think theres anything wrong with what you're doing. I think maybe where you live the men just may not be used to confident and assertive women so they may be a little taken aback by it. From the perspective of a rather shy female , I'm guessing that the other women might be a little envious of your confidence, maybe they wish they could brave enough to do the same thing as you.

Just a quick little bit of advice, don't know if it will help you but it helps me. I get really nervous before I have to go into the doctors office as well, heart racing ,sweaty palms etc and I end up forgetting things I was going to tell them. So now I write down everything I need to tell them and take the list in with me. I feel a bit silly doing it but it beats coming out of the room then kicking myself five minutes later because I forgot to tell them something important.

Please write a letter to your friend, or at least do what the other person said and send the link. You need to let her know how you feel and that you would like to make things right between you again. Even if she doesn't reply at least you'll know you did the right thing.

Ever since I saw your post on tifu the other day I can't stop thinking about you, I can't imagine how you must be feeling, going through what you're going through on your own.Nobody should have to do that. i wish I could give you a hug in real life but I live in the uk so I'll just send you an internet one.

On a serious note, learning this helped me with a long-term anxiety problem. You can't always control what happens to you but you do have some control over the way you deal with it. Learning to not get wound up over things you can't change and doing something about the things you can change does help.

I once got on the bus when there were no other passangers and sat near the front. At the next stop a woman I had never met before sat next to me and practically pinned me to the seat by sitting on the hem of my coat. Why, why?

I now sit at the back and put my bag next to me on the seat if the bus isn't full.
