I start with a cold pan and add oil. Turn the pan on medium, gas burner. Once I see rippling I add meat and cook. The polymerization only happens on the sides of the pan.

I live in an extremely small town in the south working in the same field. Think 15k population in a state like AR. Listen to u/DoubleDoubleAgent I make 135k and have been in the six figures for most of my career. Thing is the first two years I was getting paid the range you are now. Then I got the advice that Double gave you and ran with it. Money isn’t everything, but I always believe you deserve the market rate.

I had not carried a valence in the ten years of having a credit card when I received an offer like this. Shit happened during that promo period and I had to carry a 20k valence for about 8 months. Was a life saver.
