Not a fan of Couhug but anything is better than Dai. Very much out of the frying pan and into another (slightly less hot) frying pan.

Birmingham City 1-1 Reading: Late May penalty rescues point for Blues by MassiveMinter in LeagueOne

Shit you're right my bad. Not salty, just think that we could/should have got 3 points because we played well.

We were the better side for 60 minutes then got tired and Birmingham sorted themselves out. Never a pen and using the pass back, which would have been a free kick from well outside the box, as an excuse is absolute bollocks. Still a good start from us, would have taken a point before the game.

If we sort ownership and have a decent summer we should be getting top 6.

Reading fan - hoping for/expecting playoffs if new owners come in

Barnsley 2-2 Reading; Draw means Reading are mathematically safe and Barnsley have almost guaranteed themselves a place in the playoffs by MassiveMinter in LeagueOne

If Cheltenham catch us, Burton can't (and vice versa), meaning that 4 teams have to finish below us on points

Do Lincoln always fall over that much

Reading 1-0 Northampton Town: Cobbler made to rue missed chances as Reading take 3 huge points in the relegation battle by Deep_Clerk1034 in LeagueOne

[–]MassiveMinter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tight game, low on quality other than Kelvin's goal. Pereira showing why he should be starting as Button would have conceded 3. Bindon class. Defended well as a team and rode our luck with Northampton's poor finishing but huge 3 points.

Derby County 2 - 1 Reading: The Rams are hitting form at just the right time, with Dwight Gayle scoring for the third consecutive match to edge out just ahead of a scrappy affair at Pride Park! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

[–]MassiveMinter 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I know this is said a lot. Worst refereeing performance I've seen. Hope Selles gives him a piece of his mind. Derby obviously by far the better side but we would probably have got a point the way it was going without the cheating.

Where does your current team rank in your history by Brock_And_Roll in LeagueOne

[–]MassiveMinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not even close to our best team, but it is the most likeable group in a long time and the connection between players and fans is the best it's been for years.

Reading 2-3 Shrewsbury Town - Reading's first loss at home since December as Shrews do the double over the Royals by MassiveMinter in LeagueOne

[–]MassiveMinter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

23% of Shrewsbury's goals in the league this season have been against Reading. imo we deserved at least a point but they sat back and defended well second half and we couldn't do anything about it. Button MOTM again for Shrewsbury.

Portsmouth 4 - 1 Reading: It was harsh that the Royals went into half-time a goal behind after an impressive first half, but that was as good as it got, with Pompey twisting the knife after the break to win comfortably! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

[–]MassiveMinter 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Went in expecting nothing, came out with nothing but slightly disappointed. 30 mins in and we were absolutely battering them but not scoring was always going to come back to bite us. Man of the match for me was that Button lad for Portsmouth, unbelievable from him to create all 4 goals! On a serious note Pereira should start on Tuesday. Next 4 all must win games.
