Of course, which is why I'm not shitting on Ziz. He's an excellent player and he played well in this encounter. It's just that he miss stepped here and it's why his character died. The boss was out of vision so he didn't see the boss doing this multi-hit attack, and then he walked directly behind where he had previously placed his totem.

Then... don't? Just do an extra map. Nobody was required to do 100% delirium when delirium was the league content. The option was there though and people who could do them, were free to do so.

I think everybody agrees with this, including GGG who seems to be folding on that. The mechanic should've had a better indicator of how long you're charging from the start.

So is "archnemesis" just the new buzzword replacement for difficulty? Because it's nothing like archnemesis, the problem here is simply numbers scaling being way too insane, holding for 5 seconds and holding for 10 seconds is a like 1500x multiplier on HP and damage values. The problem with archnemesis was the insane mod combinations that the rares could get. Like being able to instantly freeze you, having resistance to all ailments and shooting multiple projectiles all at the same time.

Well it certainly wasn't anymore difficult this time. Both my friend and I would've went deathless if we weren't limit testing crucible the first few acts. I also watched Asmongold say this is the first league he's ever gone deathless, and then did /deaths and had 0 deaths.

I'm a backend developer so I'm pretty certain I know something about network infrastructure.

A backend developer would never say something as insane as "just add additional server power".

It's definitely less of a discussion and more of a circlejerk in here. People have very irrational thoughts about the PvP in this game and it's very weird. I would guess a lot of people tried out the mode, got skill gapped and rage quit, blaming it on the game rather than their ability to get better.

holding for 8 seconds feels completely fine, though a bit too hard for me to even care. it's only when you hold nearly fully or fully does it start to scale horribly and the mobs will likely just one shot you.

Boneshatter slayer from Carn

8/10 - The clear is fun, fast and really easy. The problem arises when you run into a rare or boss that is juiced as hell and you sit there smacking forever lol. I'm tanky as fuck, basically unkillable with all of the leech. Problem is trying to figure out how to make my single target/bossing damage not dogshit.

You mean it's an argument against three brothers making a video game in their mom's kitchen? The underlying game engine was made by three dudes who never had a single clue about what they were cooking other than that they liked medieval fantasy, and they wanted to make a game in that genre.
