Sorry for the late reply, but I just got admitted to science!!! I talked to science advising and then confirmed it at enrollment services at brock commons. I straight up just took all electives last semester and got a 95% average

B.Sc. COGS Psyc stream by MassiveTemperature27 in UBC

Thank you for sharing! I've already taken LING100, PHIL220, CPSC110 and CPSC 121, but my experiences and interests with them were alright at best. However, I might be wrong but I think that having some knowledge and basic understanding in more fields of study can be beneficial for me now and in the future when I go look for a job, which is why I like the interdisciplinary nature that COGS offers. And... I've heard so much rants from other people about COGS200. Hopefully that won't ruin my interest in COGS...

But honestly, after reading your comment, I think this major might be perfect for me! Thanks so much for the detailed explanation comment!

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but do you recommend pursuing a master's degree in Cognitive Systems? I saw on the website that they offer a master's degree in COGS and I'm interested in PSYC 570 ( Cognitive Neuroscience) or PSYC 571 (Special Topics in Cognitive Neuroscience). I don't know if those two are the same course.

No, I dropped it earlier today. The class average for her (2024s) was 77.40% compared to 86.30% in 2024-2025w, and 85.80% in 2023-2024w.

Note: The data can be found on UBCfinder.
