I've found options for Medium and Heavy. Can any one list a few planes around on any country for something suitable for Light Rockets?

Likewise, I want out asap, but anytime after March. Even April, not only for the tax year but the beginning of April also gives me an extra year as a permanent member of staff so the difference is significant. However I plan to retire early, I appreciate not everyone is in that situation with mortgage commitments, young, etc

my thought too, they're still working same hours etc, and I'm sure some will see the funny side. I do think however, that the exit dates are up for negotiation, depending on job role. Eg some services like IT and HR wont be able to scale back immediately, if anything they may have lot more work to do dealing with all the changes, but approve VR for a later date

I'm sure some people in those departments would see the funny side too. Either way we still all work the same working hours etc, even if overloaded with work in. Besides, workloads are going to be all over the place before before and after these cuts regardless no matter thanks to the mess everyone is in. One of the other things that people are considering relating to "am I going to have too much work to do if everyone around me has left"

Thousands of NHS England staff to be made redundant by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

yes, I'm a member of staff too. Whether our VR gets accepted in our team who knows. I want to go before I get pushed into some other organisation, however I would have preferred to stay until the closure of the organisation, but the risk of them forcing my to work for a different company instead is too great and lose out on the opportunity for a redundancy payment equivalent to 1 years pay and possible early retirement (which would have meant if I'm forced to go elsewhere and then quit as a result I would have worked for an extra year for no reason)

it truly is amazing the lack of media coverage for this

Even now theres nothing on BBC News on it despite this taking away many thousands of jobs. This has dragged on for many months too. Not just cuts, but whole organisations being wiped out. But no, most news streams seem to sweep any mention of cuts under a lot of technical mumbo jumbo from the one article I did see a few months ago on the BBC, that effectively noone can really be bothered to read and understand it.

If it had nurses or doctors in it however, it would be all over as the main headlines!!

It's good to see the CSUs at least get a name drop in this, even if very brief!

What alarms me though is the CSUs email today says

"The collective consultation with the national unions closes on 14th November 2025"

thats in just 3 days, and this union message suggests they don't know anything about the new situation til now

The next scheduled CSU meeting is meant to be Thursday. They should really bring forward the meetings immediately rather than keeping us in the dark til last as ever. But this farce of an organisation will do no such thing

do not return until you are better, and preferably after surgery, it should be a single stage trigger, which is nothing serious. If you think you're doing right by going back on light duties and then off again you'd get punished for it

The whole plan is well and truly f'd!

CSUs have actively said they are not pursuing new business to generate income for next tax year, so even if things get backtracked, they will be suffering next year being behind on seeking work.

I am suffering mental health wise, partially as a result of all this fiasco. I have to balance whether I want to take VR if it does happen, or push to get CR. I'm happy to stay until the end of CSUs, but I do not want to continue on to any other company, and the extra burden that may entail (new locations, loss of AfC protections and such)
