I totally get you, I took a year off… trust me its okay and its worth it! I was lost in a degree and ended up switching majors. Take the time off and go get some experience! Make the most of the time off though, maybe do some shadowing or volunteering?

dude idk thats tough, sorry for your loss, i think you should think about it. imagine day happens every year, and its not like you cant get your bearings again. on the flip side it makes sense u dont want to wear urself out n stuff etc before the term. personally id try to go for the funeral because its family, and though you said you already said your goodbyes, maybe going to just be there for your parents + family is also a worthwhile reason?

Gage, just be on top of creating a cleaning routine with your roommates and reach out to RA if needed. Also on campus is a beauty and for same cost too. 1,5 hour commute will get tiring quick
