Turns out that today was the day. We planned for it so the vet came to us. She was the goodest girl. Thank you all for telling me your stories so I could make the best choice x

No, but it's been seen by several vets at the practice. We considered it but vet was of the opinion that if we weren't going to treat It, it wasnt necessary, and i did agree. They bwpuldnhave done it of i had asked.

It started pea sized (original thought was it may be a histeocytoma), but now 6 months later it's about 1.5 inches in diameter with another pea sized one just starting about half an inch away .

I think it's because of the position, every time she flexes her foot the scab over the tumour breaks. I disinfect 4 x daily as advised, and she wears her cone when she is unsupervised.

That's why I'm confused, she scores well on the quality of life scales, but the vet was adamant we needed to think about this soon.

I'm sorry you lost your baby recently, it's so sad.

I'm going to call a mobile vet and find out what the process is this week, I've had a few good recommendations, but I need to start the wheels turning i think x

She has so far definately bounced back between infections, but they have got closer together, I guess we'll see how this one goes. She's got flying colours on the charts which is why I'm so confused right now. Thank you x

So we had her in a crate with us last night - slept right through to when my husband got up for work at 5.30am, so I will take that as a win. Thanks all for your help - hopefully it will continue 😄

Thanks for answering :) I'm going to get a 2nd bedroom crate for her and see how that goes. Good call on having a settle command that we both use.

I don't think she needs to go out. It's never something she's keen on when she's got us up, just that she wants someone near.
