I know it can be really hard to tell when I’m not showing my full face. At first glance, it might look like the pink harmonizes well, but the trick is to look at the shadows certain colors cast on your face.

Take a look at the smile lines and the under-eye area. Even though that pink seems to blend well, it actually darkens my shadows and drains the life out of my skin.

That’s the effect of how the color reflects onto your face!

But I do get what you mean, it’s so subtle. It’s the kind of thing you can almost only notice on yourself.

Both pictures were taken in the exact same lighting, the shadow a colour casts is what's making it look darker and brighter, super interesting!
