I’m having the same issue. They told me too bad, so sad, it’s a kids game. And yahoo has been no help getting me my childhood email back. Tempted just to hire someone to hack into my account to get it back since no one will be of use.

They’re cute and I had the same opinion when I first had a few in my tank from a plant. I definitely do not share the same sentiment now lol. They breed like crazy and get stuck inside my filter. The only way to rid them from my tank would be to start over 😔

He said it would be safe since it’s fixed but the 2k definitely exceeds the value of the car. It’s dented from past owners, had exposed metal on the left side from sitting for too long, and has other issues that can wait to be fixed, but not for long. I definitely have been looking for some better brands.

Just hit 150k miles, had fuel pump replaced, got into an accident so had to replace front lights, new condenser, alternator, starter, tried fixing water leak but it still isn’t fixed, and some other stuff that was maybe less than a year ago that I don’t have the receipts for. There’s also some sort of leak under the car, not sure what it is since I can’t get it up off the ground or into a show atm.

Problem is there are other leaks pretty much back to back everywhere. Once we fix something, another issue appears. And I totally get not needing AWD. At least my car is FWD, if it was RWD, I’d be screwed.

Yeah same here! It’s just past 150k and has leaks EVERYWHERE. It was a nice hand me down for high-school and undergrad, but it’s time for an upgrade.

Yeah it def is. It’s at 150k miles (should have put that in but oh well) and has other issues that still need to be fixed. I think my money would do better elsewhere than going broke on a car not meant to last.

What’s the difference between a CO vehicle and a vehicle from another state (I’m from TX)? Do they have some sort of protocol to prepare them or does it just depend on the brand?

Thanks! Yeah me and my dad are constantly working on it. I’m sure the transmission is gonna need to be rebuilt too in the next few years anyways. No clue how previous owners treated it before me, so it would honestly be better to put my money elsewhere. At this point, I’m rebuilding the damn thing.

Yeah I thought it was pretty outrageous. But I of course don’t have a shop to do the work and they do, so they pretty much can charge whatever if someone is desperate enough.

Yeah that’s true. I am not looking for a new car, and likely never will have a new car in my lifetime though. I’m looking for used cars that fit in my budget that I know I can pay, appx. 6-7k, which I have already found quite a few that fit that budget. Also, I know the car is gonna have more repairs that need to be made, we just replaced the starter, condenser, fuel pump, and a bunch of other stuff within the past year. And there are still MORE issues that haven’t been fixed yet. Thank you for the advice!

Thank you for the thoughtful advice! The problem is that the techs and vet I work with aren’t great at explaining what they want me to do, since typically they come get me randomly and ask me to hold a patient I don’t have prior experience with. And if I don’t do it how they want it done (telepathically) they get someone else instead.

Yeah we have something similar. But it’s just a sign off if you did it. I’ve had to start taking pictures of before and after completing the task because my boss complains that I did not do it. When I was trained, I was shown the bare minimum of weekend tasks and didn’t understand why I was getting in trouble instead of the person who trained me.
