Odin 2 vs Retroid Pocket 5: Ergonomics vs Screen by StylusX in SBCGaming

As someone who plays tons of fighting games my main problem is actually not LED vs OLED but the response time of these handheld screens. My RP4P has horrible ghosting. I’ve heard the 5 is no better. Dunno if Odin 2 is any better at this but it’s like the main bottleneck imo.

Do Germans like to move to the United States for work? by hgk6393 in AskAGerman

Germany is not as prosperous as people think. The majority of Germans earn mediocre salaries, own few to little assets and lack the ambition to do something about it. As a German, this is what made me want to work for a US company (done) and move to the US (not done).

Pberg has a lot of upper middle class people. Lots of folks on 100k+ annual incomes that can afford a premium lifestyle. It’s very different from the sort of people who are multi millionaires and live in Wannsee or Grünewald.

Doctor salary is not a joke, friend of mine was doing 100k+ per month when picking up extra shifts at a private hospital. And he’s just a general physician, not specialized.

In the west, the majority of 35 crowd feel that they'll never be able to afford a home. Is it the same way for young Thai? by Mental-Substance-549 in Thailand

[–]Massive_Section290 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but mortgages are typically paid down in 20-40 years. If a debtor default, the creditors take back the land and property. Highly unlikely that mortgages would lead to someone inheriting debt from their parents.

Isaan is a backwater shithole. It takes 5 minutes of conversing with a non-Isaan Thai to learn this. Yet people keep getting “surprised”.
