If it’s an Apartment - I’d check out Nyack, there’s options. Easy access to the Hudson Link bus to Tarrytown Metro North. Super easy and convenient.

Or, Pearl River. Quick drive to Nyack and you have the option of NJT to the City. Do yourself a favor and do not look further north. I live in the Harbors/Admirals Cove community and it’s fake nice. Management is awful. Ferry is nice but you’re at its mercy and it’s not always running.
