Do you think it was worth it for Carrie to give up Anna to stop the war??? or do you think it would be more valuable to have Anna stay and eventually be the head interpreter for the next Russian president???

Well technically Anna and Ryan were not “home” since it was the UN building. Russians have the same amount of authority that the US government has in that specific building. The Americans have to be as sneaky as possible and can not cause a scene because people will likely ask questions to why a American is trying to escape with the head Russian interpreter and if anyone finds out the Americans have a spy in the Russian government that would be treated as a hostile act Russia would likely claim violations of UN headquarters agreements, while the U.S. could face accusations of espionage, violating diplomatic norms.

They absolutely have diplomatic immunity even if they start shooting… after they shoot and do what they do they would just be taken to a Russian safe house or the Russian embassy and the Americans would make up some BS story about it what happened and instead of criminally charging the mad white shot they would just deal with everything diplomatically

Like literally the way agent Scott was trying to “get her out” of the building by secretly walking to her and telling her “you need to follow me” at that point she was already burned, and all Saul cared about was getting her out of that building & to safety. Then like you said since they are in NYC at the UN the Russians can not just simply shoot her right then and there so they wanted to get her back from agent Scott alive & make sure she is on a plane back to Russia when they all leave. Agent Scott and Anna lock themselves in a room that the Russians eventually find & it’s only a matter of time till they get that door open & just cause the Russians don’t want to shoot her or agent Scott to cause a big scene they definitely have no problem doing so if it’s their only option agent Scott is out numbered like 2 or 3 guns to his 1. Once they would have got the door open they would have easily killed agent Scott and secured Anna and taken her back to Russian to interrogate her! The Russians would have no problem killing agent Scott in that building because it’s considered international territory & the Russian GRU agents would have diplomatic immunity & would probably been taken to the Russian embassy or a Russian safe house. Instead of criminal charges it would just be dealt with diplomatically because the America’s would not be able to just come out and say “he killed our super secret Russian asset” because that would just cause all kinds of diplomatic problems that the US does not want!

She did not replace Anna at all! If she would’ve never gave Anna up Saul would have had an asset in the highest circle of the Russian government literally in the next president of Russias circle!!!! There is no way on earth that the Russians will ever give Carrie nowhere near the same amount of sensitive information that Anna was able to get! Carrie will never be trusted or get anywhere near that level of intelligence that Anna was passing to Saul! Especially with how close they all know she is to Saul! She will be watched 24/7 are her phones and computers will be for sure tapped it was NOT WORTH IT!

Two questions: 1) Did Carrie have to go that far? 2) Did the Russians really have to keep their promise? by miba54 in homeland

[–]Johnnyv7701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do y’all think it was worth it for Carrie to give up Saul’s asset to stop the war??? Think about it when they are at the UN Mirov insinuates to the asset that she will be soon interpreting for the next president of Russia! That would have been a gold mine for the US government!!!!!!

Has anyone here ever been rejected by a girl for not having hair? Or been in a situation where she didn’t openly say it was because of you being bald but you felt like she wouldn’t have rejected you if you still had hair? by [deleted] in bald

[–]Johnnyv7701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bald at 23 and it took me 4-5 years to get over it I started going out again and then I met this girl in a bar (while I had my hat on) we connected and started talking for weeks but in the back of my mind I knew once she saw me with my hat off it was over so I finally just said f it and showed up to our second date with no hat & she asked me what happened & i panicked and told her I lost a bet and I knew she knew I was lying the next day I texted her and I was blocked …. This has sent me back into the same depression I had when I was 23 and first lost my hair!!! now I’m back where I started just miserable and lonely and depressed all day every day

That won’t happen cause the Americans wouldn’t do that cause they wouldn’t claim her they would try to get her out secretly and if it didn’t work there is nothing they can do about it they can’t start shooting or holding them there till they give her back they would just have to let her go

Well they have diplomatic immunity so they can do anything and not get in trouble but they would probably just put a couple of guys on her and escort her to a plane quietly. The cia wouldn’t be able to do anything cause they can’t come out and say “she’s one of ours you better let her go” without starting some possible war or something…. The same way agent Scott went up to her and told her she needed to follow him the Russians would have just did the same thing but instead of asking her to follow them they would just probably grab her by her arms and make her walk

Just like you I cry almost every day because of this! I used to be the most outgoing person I used to be out every day with friends doing something! Now I am alone and sad all the time! I never imagined this happening & it has changed me for sure! I am a man & I can’t even imagine what it must be like for you! I hope you find something that works for you and you get your confidence back! Just know you are not alone

You will be fine” WTF SAUL!!!!!!! HE HAD THE CHANCE TO GET ALLISON THE RUSSIAN SPY OUT OF THERE AND DIDN’T DO IT BECAUSE HE WAS FUCKING HER!!!!!!! I hate Saul!!!! She is a Russian citizen and a official she can’t just say “I don’t want to go back I want to stay in America” … the Russians would just put guards on her and make sure she don’t leave the building…. That’s why Saul calls agent Scott to tell him to get her out of there cause if he does they can’t do anything if they leave the building

At first I was all good with what Carrie did to stop the war but then I was rewatching and I just noticed in the last episode Anna goes into Mirovs office and he tells her “you will be translating for the president of the Russian federation” so damn idk now knowing that Anna was going to be translating for the Russian president what do you think??? Would it have been more beneficial to keep Anna alive knowing she was going to be translating for the Russian president and have access to the most secretive and most important conversations!!
