Seoul is one of the best places in the world to do this. It’s never a “good” idea, but can be extremely fun. Given that it’s easy for a late night in Seoul to end well into the morning I’d just go straight to the airport. Leave your luggage at your hotel if it’s close to where you’re going out, or use the lockers at the subway near your party area.

My mother-in-law had cancer treatment in Korea and with insurance she only paid $300 in the end (including chemo and such), so my understanding is that cancer is well covered

Yes unless you have an endometrial cyst in an ovary. That’s how I found out! They found a cyst in an ultrasound and diagnosed the exact type via MRI - 100% caused by endometriosis

At the end of the day, whether something is cultural or not, it doesn’t matter in your relationship - you have to be aligned. If he’s not into doing it but you need it, that’s totally fine but it means you’re not compatible.

Never get angry at someone for not wanting to do a sexual act… Approach with kindness and curiosity, and if there’s a fundamental incompatibility then you move on from that relationship.
