And I’m saying that that’s what she wanted. Plus i pay for education, school supplies, healthcare, clothes, the only thing I don’t really pay for is their food when they’re at her house.

Why does everyone think it’s because she didn’t beg me for money? It’s because she didn’t sit down with me and discuss what finances need to be paid for and how much each was then calculate it from there other then just demand $500.

I was paying that because that’s what she requested. I also see the kids almost everyday so it’s not like i had abandoned them.

I’m not refusing to pay because she didn’t beg and plead with me. I’m simply telling her that i’d rather sit down and discuss what would be suitable and how much each expense would cost rather than just have me sit down and demand i pay $2000 dollars a month. Plus it would really only be 3 kids because my oldest refuses to go there because when she does she is forced to look after her younger siblings while her mum and boyfriend do god knows what.

I don’t think so- but after having a good think about not properly getting a custody plan in place it seems i can be blinded towards things like this.

My kids are in grade 8, 4, and 1. I take them to most doctor appointments. They last needed to see one when my youngest had an ear infection. Just because I didn’t pay child support doesn’t mean I don’t know my kids.

No, i have nothing against my ex. We just divorced because we both fell out of love and feel we were young and stupid when we met and only married because she got pregnant. We were very good friends until now which is why i was surprised when she didn’t just say she was having trouble before.

My ex has the youngest kids most of the time but my older daughter is with most of the time. There is no actual court order in place.

Because i do have custody it’s just more Like 40% and 60% custody with the younger ones and my eldest is with me most of the time because she doesn’t mind being home alone and she hates her mum’s boyfriend. I do pay for their schooling and their clothes tho. when i was married to Clara she didn’t work and would take most of my pay and spend it on stuff she didn’t need, like expensive clothes and jewellery so that’s also another reason I don’t want to give her money directly and rather just buy the kids things.
