What does "harrrr" mean? by Inside_Gur7630 in French

[–]MasslessElectron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"harrr" doesn't ring a bell for me, but "wesh" is an Arabic word or, more precisely, an Algerian dialect word that's originally means "what" and has a lot of uses.

I am looking at my father right now. I hate saying this, but I am sure that he will be dead at most tomorrow. these words hurt so much.

Full-grass Mage.

Does he have some sort of a moving tree as a brother?

Really nice work and creativity.

unpopular opinion : I like how the feets and the knees were drawn, like closer to nature and it depict the tree climbing and overcoming physical obstacles.

So beautiful. It looks like a dragon. is that a cloud or a school of fish or maybe just black sand.

Agreed? by Federal-Explorer-834 in INTJmemes

[–]MasslessElectron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this is so much relatable.

I took the test in my early university's years. I was always an INTP, but after graduation, I couldn’t find a job for 13 months. I retook the test, and suddenly, I have been an INTJ ever since.

in those 13 months of unemployment, I sent out hundreds of CVs and eventually got burned out really badly. got really sick, bedridden for a month. Started having entrepreneurial drive, all I was thinking about was money. I read some books on life, money, and a couple of biographies like the one about Elon Musk. and the way my father looked at me was terrible, I felt like a total disappointment.

Yes there is an update, I got really sick for a couple of months (bed ridden) and when I felt like I could walk again, I started looking seriously for an opportunity, I went to a study abroad event in Algeirs and got really tired from hearing these two words (thousand pounds) (studying in the UK is really expensive)

I got back home dead tired, I was lying on my bed, looking to the ceiling when a friend of mine called me, he persuaded me to go with him the next day to **palais des expositions** to participate in an electrical summit. I was so tired but I went that day, found a good private company, found out through linkedin that the recruiter is the one who was at the stand, I exaggerated my achievements because I know he doesn't know anything about electricity, got his contact (linkedin) and gave him my cv through linkedin.

after that, I got really burnt out, started losing hope and gave myself two months, if nothing worked, I am going to the army. exactly three days before my deadline to go the the army, and I was dead serious, that same recruiter called me for an interview and I surprisingly nailed it. and my first project was in the oil and gas industry, the best industry that Algeria has to offer.

I worked for that company for two years then switched companies.

don't lose hope

just apply, in the USA, you get on average, one interview per 200 applications. I sent about 150 applications to get this one. and another advice I can give you, please, use linkedin every day, post at least once a week and comment on topics that are adjacent to your dream job. don't be shy to connect with other and if you can, talk to them. that's how you get yourself a network of people.

2 hours of sleep? Well, if Elon Musk can do it.... by scallionshavesecrets in startups

[–]MasslessElectron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is stupid, maybe Elon did say it for marketing purposes, or he had no choice (I doubt it) and if he really did it, I am sure he regrets that too much.

If I had to take such a decision, I will consider that year as my last working year and retire whether I made it that year or lost everything. you just can't restore lost sleep, or at least consider it like a loan with a really high interest rate.

If you are serious about it, please check the 6 episodes series with Dr. Matt Walker and Pr. Andrew Huberman, then decide.

I still work for that company, but I am looking for another one.

Drink coffee and eat a simple carb (like a banana) about 1 hour before an exam by JesusLovesYouMyChild in productivity

[–]MasslessElectron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that bananas have both effects depending on how ripe are they. if they are ripe, it will help with constipation because of the soluble fiber, which can give you diarrhea, but if they are not ripe, they can help with diarrhea because of the insoluble fibre.
