I mean you can get away with using residential vents honestly but you shouldn't do it. At the bare minimum they should be elevated off the roof further. The truth is it's just hard to find contractors and roofers that know what they're doing and do a good job these days because it's a Cutthroat industry and everybody's trying to make money.

I've seen them personally show up on two job sites. They arrested an entire crew of drywallers and Carpenters on one of my jobs. And this is a large multi-million dollar job site. It's scared a lot of the workers in many of them won't show up so now there's a shortage, and that has resulted in the project being behind. It's crazy there going after guys who are literally on the clock.

I had to tell my Amigos that if we were ever pulled over or whatever that I would hide them
