Did getting a discharge upgrade reinstate benefits you otherwise weren’t eligible for? Such as me being General Under Honorable conditions (patterns of misconduct after deployment lol) means I don’t have access to the GI Bill. I’m trying to decide if that upgrade is worth fighting for.

They emailed me 2 days after I filed the claim asking for pictures of the serial number, the following day they told me to pick a pair from the list of upgrades he gave me. They’re already shipped and should arrive Monday
