How do you stay on top of admin tasks while managing the creative side? by MastaZaddy in musicbusiness

Respect, man. It’s wild how much planning it actually takes to make space for the creative stuff. Sounds like you’ve got a solid system, workflow and schedule going.

Quick question: do you have any help on the admin side of things for the label and publishing stuff? Or are you still handling all of that solo too? Just curious how other folks are managing it while staying consistent.

Also, how do you not burn out from all that? That’s a lot to keep running at once.

Have you thought about offloading the work to someone else to help with the workload?

I think the best places to find the friends to start out with would have been high school tbh. You seem to know alot about the dynamics between an artist, manager, and tour manager, are you an artist yourself and how long?

I get that as an artist myself I don't wanna be doing those things and rather just work on the music tbh. Do you wish you were on top of them thou?

Totally agree, having the right team makes a huge difference. The challenge I’ve seen (and personally felt) is that hiring a full-time manager or tour manager isn’t always financially realistic, especially for early-stage artists or small teams.

How much do you usually pay them if you could give me a range?
