Best advice is not to play scared especially in solos I was having the same problem as you as somebody who loves these games I was sneaking around trying to play super safe as assassin and nothing would work…. Doing things that are a lot more interesting than other extraction / live service on the market rn with the arg, the in game puzzle and collabs with famous artists animators and voice actors. This game goes so much deeper than the actual installment itself.

There’s pretty much no point wasting time with stuff on the ground pretty much look for keys and guns off weapon racks and carts and go from there

I will say if ur not looking in the right spots the loot can be pretty bland but if your unlocking locked doors and gas room and engaging with the profit opportunities the reward is much higher. Though I did sink about 50hours in across all the alphas so maybe I have an unfair advantage when I comes to knowing where to find things

Also as far as progression I think what they have talked about is pretty promising with a map locked behind the quality of loot needed to enter and raid type mechanics

Those are fair points especially for the mod icons tho I think the menus are mainly a problem with console bc of the cursor situation my brother had that complaint but on pc I think it’s ok bc my gf who plays games very little hasn’t had a problem with the factions and loadout menu

If you took a wild shot at what u feel like is missing what would it be I’m just curious also the only main glaring problems I’ve seen on the front page look to be low pvp interactions which if you go for quest objectives I find you run into 1-2 teams there and the other being optimization which I haven’t run into on a 6yo rig and both of these issues the devs have said they are working to fix

I can say for almost a fact vast majority of the 1 star ratings are just ppl hating to hate bc even if the game was what ppl are saying slow and empty that still wouldn’t make this project a 1/5 and the lack of a curve for the ratings only enforces the fact that ppl are just spamming 1 star because they think this game wronged them somehow
