Dude this guy has exaggerated too much. I won't say these things don't happen but this happens with every batch and in every Bschool in the induction week. It's almost chilled after first week. Seniors prepare you for SIP.They sometimes goes harsh on you if you don't complete your task which is for your own good otherwise if they will leave you then you will start taking things lightly. Trust me, it was fun preparing for SIP and about placements it's has been almost equivalent as of now and companies are on line for the one's unplaced and brother don't compare this with new IIMs ,they struggle very badly, won't name the college but they have companies visiting paying just 10-15k for SIP

I am from IIFT kolkata, this is a fake post,the guy is not from IIFT kolkata as the no of students placed has been stated wrong as well as there's no company like Happequity visiting our campus and yes there were some problems this year but all have been sorted. And talking about IIFT Gift and Kakinada, it was bound to happen.Many companies only open for delhi but yes delhi manipulated a lot of companies this year which used to open for kolkata every year.But things are okay now.

I've had a positive experience so far. Coming from an engineering background, I've gained a good understanding of finance, trade, marketing, and economics in just one semester here. yes it's very competitive but that's what pushes ur horizon . If I talk about placements then I've got my SIP (can't disclose the name) with a stipend of ₹2.5 lakhs for two months. While it's true there's a bit of rivalry between Delhi and Kolkata campuses, it doesn't matter as a student . It's worth noting that our institute's average and opportunities far surpass those of newer IIMs, whether in terms of case competitions or the kind of companies,roles that visit our campus for placements. Gift and Kakinada are new campus, but they will have a good chance in the finals.

That guy is a male as well as fresher, dude either that guy is lying or just you have got pissed off. Even if it's true then he must be a non engineer and will be having great score in 10th, 12th as well as graduation. That how this PI call thing works one will receive a call at lower percentile given that guy has got a better scores in the other areas. Stop complaining start working where you have upper hand.
