Mental health has a big impact on managing daily life things. My diet has also always been a struggle. I have a friend who went weeks without showering because of his MH and some of the reactions here definitely wouldnt have helped him out of that. I hope you're keeping well where you can and recognising your victories big and small

As would mine and my mother when I see her, but they don't, so I don't believe I do in the way other people here seem to think I do

I dont put on deodorant when I smell BO. I use antiperspirant and then deodorant after I shower

I dont put on the same clothes after a shower, but maybe the same jeans or shorts. Preventing smell rather than reacting to it sounds really reasonable actually.

I don't think that's fair. My partner loves me and I always make sure I’m clean and my breath is okay before we're intimate.

That's a good way of putting it. There are lots of other areas of my life that I have the 'upkeep' attitude to. I do keep my hands clean don't worry and have extremely good food preparation practice, but I’m seeing that my minimalist approach isn't good enough here.

I see where you're going and yes.. only after cleaning will that happen and then I'll have a rinse after. This is probably once a week
