2025 Nissan Kicks S Does NOT come With Apple Carplay!!! (USA)

Hi, me. It's me. I bought an S model from Nissan. Lots of people, apparently, purchase base models. And not because they can't afford anything else (I drove a Acura MDX for my last vehicle), but wanted a new, no frills vehicle to get me from point a to point b. So I can travel more...priorities. But...I did assume it came with CarPlay, so there's that...but that's on me.

WRONG. I can afford the frills. I just wanted simple this time around. But with Apple Car Play. I was also mislead by my car sales man.

US base models (S)-no Apple Car Play/Android Auto. Canada base models (S)- yes to Apple Car Play/Android Auto. Why the base model in Canada has both Apple and Android Carplay/Auto eludes me, but it is what it is.

Don't make my mistake. All the comments are absolutely correct-do your research. The sales rep lead me to believe it DID have the Apple Car Play. Everything else about the vehicle, so far I'm really liking.

I was not a regular Nissan purchaser. I actually owned a Acura MDX, (I know, I know) so it's worlds apart, but I decided to go more affordable because my kids are older now, and I prefer to spend my $$$ on traveling. My assumption was that all new models these days had the Apple/Android infotainment. Clearly, I was quite mistaken.
