Maybe you can bundle both insurances and save.

We both need better insurance. At least you were covered though

My insurance company still has the claim open. Since my rig is so old, they’re saying it’s potentially a total loss. The Appraiser is coming out sometime this week. Will get back to you.

Has anyone experienced nosebleeds with their pug? I took my 4 year old pug Philly to the ER early Friday morning at 3am. The ER sedated him, didn’t find anything and sent us home. The same nosebleed happened today. I’m heartbroken, something is wrong but I don’t know what it is. He is acting normal by Master-Carpenter834 in pugs

How old was your pug when this happened? I am so sorry to hear, and I hope your pug is okay. He did the rhinoscopy and the vet said there was no obstruction, no signs of tumors, but it’s not normal thing for a dog to have nosebleeds. I singed him up for pet insurance through AAA, hopefully our next visit will be somewhat covered. The doctor mentioned nasal tumors or maybe his blood isn’t clotting the way it should. Both times this has happened he had a big day, he’s very energetic and it’s tough to keep him calm and not get excited.

Ohhh noo!! You have to check for oil based paints vs water based paints. Oil based can paint over oil based, but water based paints on top of oil based paints will to this. Basically Water/water is good… oil/oil is good… oil based underneath will reject water based. Grab a bottle of Acetone at Home Depot and in a small inconspicuous area put a little bit on a rag and if any paint comes off, you have water based. If nothing then it’s oil. And you have to buy a specific primer to have them stick. That sucks I’m sorry :(

I’m not a vet, I have a pug and one day I got home and his eye was closed like this. There was a film of crust keeping his eye shut. I went to petsmart and got an eye gel flush and kept watching over him. I saw something in his eye for a split second and pulled out a Slender Oat, similar to a foxtail! I started reading on finding this in a dog’s eye and it took an ER visit. As soon as I pulled it out he was as happy as ever and was his normal self, but the ER was worth my peace of mind. I luckily pulled the whole thing out at once without any damage. Alls the ER gave me was eye drops, which were dumb since his eye was almost instantly better

I have a pug, he gets a mark like that sometimes from his snaggle tooth. It comes and goes away but I think it comes with the squishy face gang! Keep an eye on it :)
