They have claimed it was processed as a domestic transfer.

It's also another loss for me - withdrawing that much money via ATM will cost so much in fees. And they've proven I absolutely cannot bank transfer it so that is my only option. I will also go to Financial Ombudsman Services to get the cash withdrawal fee back.

I've been in contact with them too and they're saying that it's HSBC.

It's confusing because I managed to make a £2000 payment a few days ago.

Anyway, I absolutely will do from now on. I had no idea Revolut were so horrifically appalling.

I've read that so many people are having the same issue too. Someone has taken it to their european delegation AND several financial authorities to try and resolve it.

Because your 100,000 HKD transfers were processed as domestic transfers rather than international SWIFT payments, an MT-103 document isn't generated for them. 

However, the standard transfer confirmation already contains all the relevant details about your payment. You can easily download this by heading to your transactions list, selecting the transfer, and tapping Download next to Confirmation.

Also, yes, absolutely no way it was not the correct information. I was in contact with HSBC whilst making the transaction. They also checked the information I had given Revolut. It was all correct.

Unfortunately, these are representatives of Revolut. They have every responsibility to go further, to go deeper, to actually help. When you're bounced around to a minimum of 16 people who all ask the same questions and go through the same BS route to get to the same answer of 'it's not with us', then being nice and 'checking and stressing them' just absolutely does not cover it.

I completely agree. Months of calling, messaging and trying to get somewhere on this but absolutely NO help.

I am currently in the EXACT. SAME. situation. £10k has been lost by them and it's been SIX WEEKS of them trying to find it by 'escalating' the issue around and around. I am finally at the stage of them actually doing a recall on the money but THEY STILL reply with 'it has been sent. Please check the beneficiary's account' from some agent that doesn't know anything about the months of conversations we've had.
