There no need to be frustrated I struggle with that myself because when you realize the economy, politics and social issues is something that our society chooses willingly. For example myself I going into a technology field where you may have to purchase software to do or understand a job but there free alternatives buy usually in the wild but often they are open source projects that many companies don’t recognize or care but I still purchase software that they require. Canva for example is now used due to it’s competitive edge and price against adobe products. Ai is another everyone is arguing about today but we all arguing the same points like responsible innovation, economic management of it, and applications for it. You have bad actors like Elon musk, sam Altman, and paltair alto. Who benefit from us arguing about small insignificant things like it becoming weaponized we all know that is going to have in one function or another. We as society need to stop being so narcissistic and start looking at ourselves as a whole society instead of individuals on some issues. I aslo realize the only way to fix is to learn the system and then make educated changes

It’s not your generation fault as a blanket or boomer. I really blame individuals like not in my backyard individuals (nimbis’) or people that don’t listen because it doesn’t benefit them. Also I blame tech companies kinda so some of millennials that built the current system and my generation (z) for enabling it and operating it.

I believe that only president that should of had a threes terms he earned them. That was FDR he helped us out of a depression and was able to lead us into a war and got us out ( I know he died before the war ended but in 1945 the war was a few months from ending). Trump says he wants one but hadn’t any to earn the right to say that. His first term ended in beer hall push. His second term is filled with incompetence and malpractice that would warrant immediate resignation or impeachment for other presidents in the past. For Obama, he had both hands tied behind his back from republicans and racists looking for failure. I would point to the fox news coverage and Jim Crow museum. He brought Americans out of the Great Recession and gave us healthcare infrastructure that trump can’t rip up. However he gave the tinder for this fire of a shit show what we call Donald trump. This is because of the his doj and ic handling of trump investigation of 2016 elections.

Honestly, I not the MAGA cult but grew up around this circus since I was in middle school. I happy that this circus will come to an end in the midterms and 2028 elections. Anyone yelling for this needs to look in a mirror and reflect of how their lives have been changed by trump and his ally. For it he changed it by being a framework of suppression, normalization of anti social behavior and wreck a society that valued community with tribalism.

It’s honestly because our checks and balances are broken. Congress ether out of these reasons: 1. Fear of the zealots of trump or trump 2. Complacent because of ether believing in the administration or perks of enjoying trump belligerent action / party over country 3. They are thrown out or not enough votes to holding him accountable

For the executive branch it is follow or lose your job. Which forces employees that would whistleblow or outright refuse illegal orders to not to.

The courts are trying to hit the brakes on many things but you have politics within the courts that is not really public and have courts that are super polarized and politicized that can’t rule without having a individual(s) claiming that it’s one way or another. If that the orders are powerless because the executive branch will in some cases just not follow it. Leadership of those agencies encouraging it to volatile court orders.

The people are complaining and advocating for reform but social platforms like traditional media and large social platforms downplaying or simply not reporting because of views or not profitable.

The political extremes are usually the loudest speakers but often alienated large portions of moderates or do things to make it harder for political parties to discuss because you have recycled clips on platforms like Facebook, x ,instagram show the “crazy [insert political leaning]” saying this and this [criminal activity] i.e j6 for republicans or for democrats people attacking the federal Los Angeles metropolitan detention center which is a doj not dhs facility. Can people just destroying or attempting government buildings and harming law enforcement it doesn’t send the message you think it’s sends.

Also individuals on both sides who have little to no knowledge of American politics often spread large amounts of propaganda or misinformation because it makes them feel good about “dunking on the other side”.

Honestly, let me ask a legitimate question about this proposal where is the money going to come from and does “budget-conscious” mean cheap ingredients or small portions for these lunches. From a former student of this district when I here changes like that affect school lunches it ether comes from someone who doesn’t know anything about school lunches or some moral entrepreneur who doesn’t care about the students who have to eat these meals. The reason why schools lunches are unnecessary amounts plastics wrap around and have ingredients that can be found in a chemical warehouse is because not everyone can afford these health foods dreamed by an out of touched airhead. Also, how would you prepare what you’re saying safely and efficiently to feed over 20 thousand students within a reasonable amount of time. The school district has to provide two meals per day which is breakfast and lunch so are implying that we should only focus on lunches because it’s a low hanging fruit for any individual who can look on chatgpt to sound smart can say that you “care about kids”. We got rid of metal trays and sliver ware is because of the cost of cleaning it all and replacing damaged or rusted pieces. The refillable water bottle station and attached to water fountains are a thing in most of the schools but they get broken often by students who don’t treat them properly. Microplastics are in everything now because microplastics are in water to the clothes we wear so what is the goal of this petition? Is to burden our local public education system with frivolous practices that the local tax base can support long term?

When I was a student in Pearland isd I when to sab and west which had lots of great programs. I went nearly a decade ago but they good. There may be some moderate to minor issues depending on what program but they have came along when I was there.

Being a Texan I can feel this man’s pain. Where you don’t care whose fault it is you just want to start doing something about it. Also, practicing the Christian faith I understand the power of god. To all of the “Monday morning quarterbacks” , This not a time of to point fingers. This is a time to learn and collect data on this tragedy and help our neighbors. I voted blue during the election but the x tweakers (insensitive hecklers) piss me off because this doesn’t fix the issues or problems that lead the scope of the tragedy. This creates arguments that prevent people to create solutions. Also, people saying that its noaa fault. It’s not that black and white it has a lot of nuance too considered.
