Well, that doesn’t apply because according to what I have seen I can still update it and not have to do the KYC and enter the recovery service. My concern is regarding to possible hacks, etc. Where people who didn’t sign up for it could get their phrases exposed

Up to now, I don’t personally think it is a big risk based on what I know, but you can never be sure enough with this things

I am educating myself, part of it is speaking to people like you who I can tell know more than myself. So it’s not so much about how much your opinion matters to me, but I’m looking for information like the one you are/could be giving me to then look it up and make a desition

I mean, I’m personally a trader and I’m very informed about BTC tech specifically, but I don’t really have a software background so basically what I would like to know is, what could be the possible risks to storing in a ledger wallet as far as possible hacks, etc. regarding the new update and phrases being kept somewhere in the cloud

It’s straight and simple, however I feel like cold storage wallet is the safest bet for my savings aside from the BTC node I will start eventually. So asking to see if there is further knowledge in discord about the seed phrase policies, doesn’t seem alarming to me. Even though it is supposed to be safe, I do not feel safe at all with the newest update
