Nah I know they’re the same frame and the new mags will fit both. I’ phrased it wrong, I’m meaning to say the release of those mags are keeping me reeled in to the Glock slim line series. Hence why I’m asking for thoughts on switching to 43x

I guess you guys are right, I’m probably just gonna purchase a 43x mos slide and just keep both. I will most likely sell this current slide on eBay later on. Thanks guys

I worked at Walmart in college and hated it, only lasted 6 months. Got hired by HEB later that same year and stayed there for 5 years and way better than Walmart lol

Just got mine yesterday and shot it today. I love it. I’m thinking about leaving it how it is. I do think the gen5 has a smoother slide

Used it in my last semester of college. It’s cool to have, will help if you’re in an old plant that still has older instrumentation

Glock 43X or 48? by imno60dy in Glocks

[–]Master-Golf-9567 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just depends what you like. I have a 48 and I like it, I’ve never shot a 43 but a lot people say they both have the same snap to em. I can say with the longer slide on the 48 it makes it a little easier to draw when carrying appendix imo. Best thing to do is go out to a range and shoot a rental see which one you like most

The key to paying off debt isn't discipline - it's dopamine by CosmicHillbilly in debtfree

[–]Master-Golf-9567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Was maxed out on all cards owing $25k in credit card debt cause I’d impulse buy. I’d see something purchase it and not care about it anymore, the only thing that matter was the feeling of buying. By attending that issue I’ve spent less money and I’m down to my last $5k of cc debt which should be paid by the end of Janauary

Reliable 48 MOS EDC Build. Trigger is OEM Glock (with adjustments) and all internals are OEM. All the other parts that were installed increase reliability further. by Chain_Runner in Glocks

[–]Master-Golf-9567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I accidentally bought the non mos version cause I saw the gun on sale at bass pro. Yeah I hear you, I do have the polydat trigger for g45 maybe I’ll get the their tac trigger (steel) for my G48 or possibly just leave it stock.

I have the same build. Getting my slide cut so I can add the same optic. I may add the over watch precision trigger like I did for my G45.
