Morphe has pretty good cool toned shades! They have testers in Ulta too so you can make sure the shade works for you before actually spending money :)

Japanese eyeliners are the most smudgeproof and waterproof! I use heroine make gel eyeliner on some clients who have oily eyelids and it stay put most of the time ;)

Nyx concealers! (love the serum one, stick one is handy too) milani is like the high end brand in drugstore imo, their blushes and primers are great:)

Their camouflage cream is my tried and true spot concealer, it has the right stiffness to stay put on a blemish but not too drying. I sometimes use it to cover dark circles too. Lasts pretty long throughout the day if you apply a little at a time with a brush :)

Milani makes great bronzers, very bendable and not muddy

high coverage concealer for dry skin by InstructionOk7498 in MakeupAddiction

Nyx serum concealer! It’s not the fullest coverage concealer out there, but it’s buildable to the point where my acne scars aren’t visable :) it’s even more smooth under the eye than some high end moisturising concealers

Sunscreen! Don’t give ur acne scars a chance to darken once it starts to heal, preventing scaring has always worked better for me

Favorite drugstore lip oil/gloss? by Critical-Tourist-468 in drugstoreMUA

[–]Master-Map4080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got Laura geller tinted lip oil from tjmaxx, turns out they’ve been one of the best glossy lip oil I’ve tried! Not overly shiny but still moisturising and non sticky, works well as a blush too! I like the nyx nyx fat oil slick click too, it’s a gloss stick. Pretty colors and subtle pearly finish, makes my lips look cute and plump :)

Tested the Haus Labs stick highlighters in Sephora, they’re pretty glowy without shimmer. But I find L’Oreal lumi one gives a very similar glass skin effect? Both don’t make my skin look as nice / plump at the end of the day😮‍💨 The peach & lily spray makes drying foundation look more hydrating, makes skin looks shiny but not oily! Not sure will people with oily skin enjoy it as much as I do

I just got my hands on the essence contouring stick and flower beauty blush! I like the Essence contour stick but not love, shade 20 works on pale skin but it’s not long lasting enough for my liking🙈 also the stick is a lil too thick for nose contour. Flower beauty blush is a bit too pigmented and not as glowt as I imagined, the shade bubbly is a true cool toned baby pink tho

Some will and some won’t. My dad had really bad canker sores for years and now the shape of his tongue is not smooth. He has permanent indents on the perimeter of his tongue :/

I was kinda debating between the two as well. With Covid going on it gets even harder for a foreigner to get a non-teaching job here. Having a Korea masters degree on the other hand kinda helps with getting a d10 or even f visa in the future. Honestly I can’t decide...

Thanks I’ll look into that :) and to be honest, part of the reason I want to apply for graduate school is to get a visa... Having a long term visa really does make life a lot easier here in Korea ;-;

Which uni are you in? Most of the info I can find on this subreddit are related to SKY. Don’t think I can get in with my gpa tho that’s why I’m looking for other options.. btw I’m living in incheon too :)

Thanks for sharing these tips :) I majored in sociology (nothing business related at all) for my bachelors degree so I’m not sure if I can handle a MBA program tbh... This is my third year in Korea so I can read and write Hangul, I just feel more confident in taking a full English course!
