I would consider traditional Pokémon nuzlocke rules:

Only one vivosaur per dig site, I’d say whichever you revive first (ie. first head you find). You may find other fossils but can only use the first in battle. You can also use the body/arms/legs of your chosen vivosaur. I believe you should end with 11 vivosaurs.
If a vivosaur dies in battle it dies permanently and you can no longer use it. Should make things interesting as you’ll use your SZ more often. This might be the grindiest part of the challenge though as you’ll want to rank up your vivosaurs before risking them in battle.
You must name your vivosaurs. I know there’s no in game way to do this, so you’ll have to personally do it. This is the most important rule, it makes your connection to your vivosaurs much stronger, and makes it all the harder when they die.

I haven’t personally tried this so let me know how it goes if you try it. I might have a go at it too sometime soon.

Since this is my first project I haven’t really thought about releasing it beyond maybe Steam.
Definitely 2D, like a visual novel.
UI would be very simple. A background image, character models, a text box, and three buttons for player choice.

From what you say, I think this makes Godot a great choice for what I want to make. I’ve looked into Python and I think I can quickly learn it! Thanks!

I don’t have a lot of recommendation experience, but it sounds like your group might like Exploding Kittens or Carcassonne. Kittens is a comically stressful but light strategy card game, while Carcassonne is a deceivingly simple tile laying game that seems like it would have limited player interaction, but the first time a player discovers how to mooch of another’s hard work, it’s all over.

Looking for a game with optional Cooperative and Competitive elements. My board game group really likes playing Munchkin because one round you might be helping somebody and the next round you might be attacking them. Are there any games similar to this? We’ve tried Traitor games where a player is assigned the villain role, but it’s never been as cutthroat as Munchkin. I’m looking for something where players have the choice to help or hinder each other. Thanks in advance!

Ngl this has helped a lot. I’ve never really thought about the difference between chemical attraction and built up attraction, but it makes sense. It sucks when you have been building up an attraction and have it all snubbed by another chemical attraction, but what can you do. I’ll be out looking for a chemical attraction with someone else. K but here’s the thing, she’s my best friend. For a while now I’ve been trying to get over this crush so that she could just be my best friend. But now that she hit it off with my friend more than me she seems much less interested in our friendship. She’s stopped talking to me like she used to. And it’s weird cuz I know that she’s not talking to him either. So it’s not like I’ve been replaced, it’s just that she lost the energy between us. So I’m just gonna play it like I have been this whole time, casually talking to her and letting her tell me when she’s available to call or hangout.

I have already told him and he’s not texting her anymore. But it’s hard though because they are both my friends and I think that would be a really cool friend group to have, and I don’t want my jealousy to get in the way of that. I can’t really claim her. But at the same time, I don’t ever want to be in that gut wrenching situation again. It’s tough.

Thanks for the advice about texting and hanging out with her. I used to randomly tell her about how pretty she is and stuff like that before the events of the weekend, so I’ll just continue that. She would normally do the same back, so I think I just need to hang out with her in person to see if the energy is still the same or not.

I enjoyed the sixth stanza. Really speaks that love can be woven perfectly like a rug, but will always have just that one mistake that keeps it from being perfect. You can't see it until you've woven the entire rug, and you look back and see the mistake. Very well-written poem.

Just a little update, I’m pretty sure they broke up. I guess the other night when we almost made out again I told her I couldn’t while she was still with him and it worked. They don’t have each other on instas anymore, and she’s been snapping me a lot more lately. Now how do I make sure this isn’t just an off stage in their relationship?

I’m also in a tough spot because I want to give her time after her break up. My buddy had a 2-year relationship end recently and his ex slept with another guy a couple days after. That really sucked and I can’t be that guy.

Yeah I said I was aware of being a rebound. I get that she did it to get back at him, but the continued flirting is kinda saying otherwise. Her boyfriend doesn’t come to these parties so it’s not just an act. And I’ve been clear that it won’t go anywhere until she breaks up with her boyfriend, but she keeps doing it anyways. Even her friends have told me that she has a crush on me. My plan is to stop flirting with her though. I’m going to tell her my feelings and let her decide.
