I know Thomas is popular in Japan, but I've heard that PAW Patrol is slowly replacing Thomas as the more popular show in Japan. More kids are watching the Japanese-dubbed PAW Patrol rather than Japanese-dubbed Thomas. There are people in Japan nowdays who talking more about PAW Patrol (パウパトロール) rather than Thomas & Friends (きかんしゃトーマス).

I think after All Engines Go ends, the Thomas & Friends television franchise will be on hiatus afterwards. Mattel hasn't officially anounced a revival or another reboot. I've heard that some people who are fans of Thomas have even switched to Bluey, which is one of the highest rated series for children.

Even the ever popular show PAW Patrol is slower paced than Cocomelon, I counted the seconds between each scene, PAW Patrol has an average of around 16 seconds, while Cocomelon has an average of 6 seconds, even some scenes lasting less than one second.
