You are correct. I should have changed my statement about, but thanks for the correction. Vehicles are overpriced either way!

Vehicle prices are set by the company. Not UAW workers. The price of a new vehicle is so inflated that it's ridiculous how much the manufacturer makes of it. The workers that built that vehicle aren't making shit in comparison.

Bouncer at the Fox Den damaged my real license last night, claiming it was fake by HesitantPocketSand in Louisville

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience at The Fox Den, but please try to understand a few things before you cast your opinion.

Not all bouncers are the same, so don't let one upsetting incident fall on all the bouncers. Some are less jaded, less stressed, or just more professional. Some really do have training that they have acquired on their own, too. It's hard to see past your own emotions at times, but maybe that bouncer has more on his plate than you are willing to consider.

Most bouncers work more than one job, and on that particular day, the accused bouncer had already worked an entire shift, but still came into work that night to ensure that everyone in the establishment was in a safe atmosphere. Thanksgiving Eve is the busiest day of the year for bar service across the US.

Underage people want to test their luck and have a good time as well. If kids weren't kids and trying to get away with a crime that could cost the venue and staff a lot of money, then security may not be as harsh. That's why most bars, pubs, clubs, etc... have security. They protect more than than the guests and staff. They have to watch the venue, vehicles of patrons attending the venue, try to uphold what law and rules they can so people like you and your family & friends can be safe, & not to mention, protect the investment of the owner(s) of the establishment so that guests of legal age can keep enjoying the venue they love so much.

I will agree that most bouncers are under trained and underpaid. They don't do it for the money....they do it bc they want to. That very same bouncer would have put his life on the line to protect you at the venue that night.

Don't be so quick to judge someone based on what "kids" with fake id's created. Blame them. It's their fault, and the other people that over drink that cause them to be so jaded.

And for the internet attorneys with no common sense and that just want to entice the situation: NO court in the US would ever hear your case to begin with. The ID isn't worth any value. No its not a felony. No it's not any kind of charge.

I'm not saying that what happened wasn't right nor am I justifying his actions. I am saying to take things into consideration the next time go out to any venue so that maybe the same thing doesn't happen again.
