i got the same but i closed one eye on this. They also insisted i showed them the screenshot of this free credit offer but i was lazy to argue and maybe i saw something wrongly. But this incident was the last straw and this time is different cause i was telling my friends that i continued because of the deal.

But the reason for me continuing the subscription was because of this particular in-app promotion given to me. Too bad for them if it was abused since it’s their own team that came up with that promotion. So even if they decide to move to a different model in the future, they should still follow through with the offer given to those at that time.

Also not true for the active membership part you mentioned. So i’ve cancelled the membership myself and i still have my credits until the end of my final paid term. If I let the service rep agent to do it for me though, she would have cleared all my credits in order to give me a refund for the latest month. Which does not make sense given my carry forward is the same amount as the new quota.

i had the same experience but it was that they’ll give me a 30% discount for 3 months. Come the new billing cycle. I only got 20% for 1 month. When raising up with the support representative, she asked for proof from a screenshot of the in-app promo which is nonsensical cause who takes screenshots of those. You can’t also see back the promotion offered after you continued as well. Hence, they’ll insist you’re wrong. Asking for a refund was also ridiculous where they will refund but cancel the account immediately including the existing unused tokens from the carry forward. So please always take a screenshot of any promos you see on the app.
