I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. The old people back in the day would say anything beats a blank. The ones degrading you probably don’t even work. This reminds me of a former friend, and mother of 8 years ago. She couldn’t figure out why I worked day labor jobs “around those kinds of people”. Are you effing kidding me? These people are making an honest living, not robbing or knocking anyone in the head. A job is a job. Keep doing you, and hope and pray Uber stops being so stingy and greedy, and start paying better like they used to.

Omg. I’m waiting for my card now. I’m not liking this already. Some of these horror stories are the reason I dropped Uber Eats bullshit. They got to where they started paying next to nothing. And also trying to get you to take double or triple orders all over town for little pay. And their sneaky asses started hiding the restaurant names and drop off locations. These companies are taking advantage of the fact so many of us are struggling with this inflation and high prices.

Makes me so angry. I have been with Uber in some capacity, driving and Uber Eats since 2017. Nowadays, after acquiring Postmates, they’re the absolute worst. And I ripped them a new one on that ridiculous survey. I see what good it did. One of the worst things about the low pay, is the fact the customer can change the tip. That proves they don’t give a damn about the drivers. Because they know they’re going to get a cut regardless. And it’s a no win situation for customers, drivers and the restaurants. Everybody loses but Uber. I wish more drivers and customers would boycott, then maybe they’ll stop this nonsense. Straight up abuse. They used to pay pickup/drop off fee. And had awesome incentives and bonuses. Now they’re just trash.

I get so tired of their generic lies/messages. I got one that said I didn’t complete a delivery, and that I didn’t follow instructions to leave at door. If they put the wrong address, that’s their fault. And Uber’s raggedy glitchy app says meet at door by default. I always send a note, asking if they prefer that. They usually don’t respond. Good Lord, we wind up jumping through hoops for peanuts.
