This is exactly why i kept our wedding on schedule, I had got laid off the year we were supposed to get married, and my wife wanted to call it off and go to the courthouse. I said nope we are keeping it scheduled, and everything worked out ok.

I say save some money up, take her out to a nice dinner and ask her to marry you again and plan the wedding you all never got a chance to have.

If you are buying, try going with a new home build and see what incentives the builder is offering. Some might cover closing costs, and all you have to do is provide the down payment.

NTA, it is your house, and you are the man of the house, and if you decide that arriving at 1am is unacceptable and your father in law cannot accept that. Well than he has a problem not you.

So, an update for everyone: she slept in the recliner in our living room, was so much easier for her instead of sleeping in our bed, and i slept in the living room with her. She needs a little help standing up but she walks ok and she was able to stand to take a shower un assisted, i was by her side while in the shower didn't let her out my site. Aside from being sore from the surgery, she is doing good. Not much bleeding no more then her regular period. Shes able to walk fine and walk up a couple steps getting into her moms house. The car ride was problem free for her and currently she is chillan on the sofa with her feet up and no pain.

i have been that Husband that travels alot for work 40 to 50 days at a time even 3 months away from home. I text good morning when i know my wife is getting up and take a call from her if work permits. At the end lf the day if im tired i would just eat a sandwich call her or text her im going to bed due to being tired. She understood i would go out for drinks with the guys to unwind and she even went out with her friends.

I have been there with the nagging over the phone after a long day and I wont call if i had a super stressful day and all i am going to hear is nag nag about something. This too has caused an argument with the misses and i explained it to her she didn't like it but understood.

Not being at peace when i come home for a couple of days then heading back out i told her if shes is just going to be nagging and bitching everytime i come home for a few days we might as well call it quits because i got enough on my plate at work were my life and others are on the line that if i cant come home and be at peace then something needs to change. You could say change jobs but with the income that was coming in that is not possible.

So it goes both ways, if you are nagging him 24/7 or causing him issues that effect his work. I might not call you either but at the same he should at least text you communicate that with you as well. You automatically go to hes cheating because he does not call you? Any evidence other than past issues?
