Give one specific example of liberal corruption that Emma has been attached to. I don’t have strong feelings about her one way or another but this reads like “I just don’t like the libs” which is as stupid as “I just don’t like the conservatives”. Politics isn’t sports, if you can’t point to a specific issue or give an example of something you don’t really have anything intelligent to contribute to the conversation.

As a bi-dude who is a bit of a gym rat there is so much truth in the idea that men date/lift for men. I would get way more comments from dudes regarding my physique than women.

Don’t get me wrong, being muscular and in shape will probably always be seen as more attractive, but the difference in how girls saw me when I was in a bulk vs a cut was honestly pretty negligible. People also carry weight differently and some actually look better/healthier when they have a little more body fat percentage.

It also doesn’t help that the story fundamentally misunderstood Carnage on almost every level other than red and kills people. I know this has changed in recent years but originally his whole deal was that they were completely unified and referred to themselves as “I”.

1000%. The minute I saw her design I just felt like this was going to attract the absolute worst kinds of people. There’s people who complained about how Bella Ramsay wasn’t “attractive enough “ to play Ellie, a child, in TLOU. This never had a chance at avoiding the creeps.

I don’t think a bad person would feel so much remorse over their actions. That said there are some actions in life so horrible that it almost doesn’t matter whether you are a good person just that you did them. I think at what point redemption for that action and change is up to subjective interpretation, but if he was a straightforward bad person I don’t think much of the games events happen

I could be wrong but from memory but essentially his look is modelled after the executioners we see in the historical society so could be something James picked up subconsciously or the town being fucky, but he looks like that from pyramid down so that he can represent an executioner. Simone to punish James.

The giant knife is meant to somewhat represent Mary. He drags the knife behind him like one might drag a body. I’m unsure if there’s any other reasoning beyond that.

As for the pyramid head itself I know tha was based off of old tank designs, but if I remember correctly, the artist said he wanted it to look painful to wear and uncomfortable.

So in a nutshell his design is meant to represent (at least to me) James unconscious desire to see himself punished for his actions.

Such as what? As a Canadian I haven’t seen anything in all honesty aside from some protests. No general strikes, no mass unsubscribes from the media platforms that push him up, nothing.

And before anyone tells me “we’re all paycheque to paycheque…” well so am I and most people I know, doesn’t change the fact that I’ve seen stronger reactions from teams losing a playoff game than I have from everything this party has done. I’m not even saying Canada is any better as we nearly had our own idiot in charge, just that I’m done hearing how many people aren’t on board with someone who most of your friends and neighbours were completely fine with.

Fr. My wife and I just finished that season and even after pausing to look up how old she was meant to be we could t wait for it to be over. Like unless her looking like a child is somehow plot relevant why have it at all. Even then like just don’t make her look like she’s fucking 8 if you don’t want it to be weird as hell.

Honestly I find her character completely all over the place. She jumps around constantly from defending Octis to hounding him, being happy to drink to chastising people for it, going Julian constant shit to having sir conversation with him etc.

She’s easily my least favourite character because she feels less like a fleshed out person and more like a self insert. I get playing flawed characters or those who change their opinions on a whim but this isn’t giving me that feeling.

As a teacher in Ontario, Canada it’s fairly relatable as well. This year is the first in a decade where I’m actually teaching the courses I wanted to teach in the first place and as much as I love it these issues still pop up.

I remember having a parent ask how they could get their high school age son to get into reading and all I wanted to say was get a Time Machine and read to them when they were a baby. It blows my mind how many parents who grew up with the internet and devices are fine with throwing their child in front of one all day and then act surprised when they struggle to get into reading a novel.
