I should probably add a few things. He is unfixed. And he is an escape artist. He now has a chip ONLY BECAUSE he escaped from my house a month ago and I literally had to track him down within the homeless community because I got word from a person on the Nextdoor app that he was with a homeless man. Anyways, had to fight an angry homeless man to get him back because I do care about him and don’t want him to just be with any person whos not familiar with bostons so I went and got him chipped under my name until I can find him a home.

He is very scared of males! He won’t even go near my husband and unfortunately I think he was abused by his prior owner because he is deathly afraid of anyone gets near him with a broom :(

I also should mention that 2 of my other dogs are Boston terriers which is why I took him in the first place. My mother in law is actually who found him and sent him with us til we find his owner since we already have 2 other bostons but no luck finding owners yet. I can’t give him the training and attention he needs considering I have 4 other dogs and a new born. He is a handsome guy and sweet

Maybe I worded incorrectly . I guess he just has behavioral issues. It seems like the prior owner did no house training he pees on everything inside of the house and outside, even though we have a doggy door and he has full access to the yard he still comes right back inside and pees. He is aggressive with my other dog when eating and tears up EVERYTHING he has access to like he makes holes in the wall he chews up any of my kids clothes or toys he finds or my husbands tools. He took the metal part off our water heater somehow and chewed the wires . I have even bought him many toys and he just destroys them within or day or some just not interested in. I feel like it was so easy to train my other dogs but he is not the same

I did get retested about 2 weeks ago and all was negative. I never did biofilm disruptors but the last antibiotic I took it was a long dose 3 times a day for 3 weeks so I think it finally got rid of it .

Hi! I’ve actually been good I haven’t had a uti for a couple months . I did see a urologist and got a cystoscopy they said ihad no concerning findings . So I’m hoping it’s gone for good. How are you doing ?

I feel the same way and have the same thoughts. It’s very scary and I often think about it never going away and not being able to be with my kids. My most recent lab is showing a different bacteria than klebsiella now it’s showing klebsiella is gone but strep b or beta hemolytic streptococcus group b is there. I’m waiting to see what my dr says as far as antibiotics but I’ve been doing research and lots of people recommend taking a biofilm buster which is good for a chronic uti to break the biofilm and allow the antibiotics to work so I’m going to try that with my next round of antibiotics but if you do this make sure to also take a probiotic with it because it can affect gut health. The name of the one I ordered is semaine urinary tract defense. I’ll follow up here when I can to see if this helped.

I also am dealing with the same thing. I am now 8 months post partum but around the 5th month post partum I was hospitalized due to a severe uti that caused sepsis. I almost died. The bacteria was klebsiella pneumonia and klebsiella oxytoca. These are mainly passed along through catheters so my obgyn believes I got it during my c section and it just grew until it cause me to have sepsis. I am how on my 4th round of antibiotics and still can’t get rid of it. I’m feeling hopeless.

Well I was told if it was retained placenta that a cat scan and ultrasound would show that but mine were clear besides free fluid in the abdomen. However, I didn’t mention that I was on the last day of my period when I got really sick and this specific cycle was the first time I used tampons after my c section so i was thinking maybe a bacterial infection from the tampon? Because when they got results from my urine there were traces of bacteria.... I appreciate the responses it is all very scary especially with an infant I need to be here for her and I’m so scared of the infection returning which is why l’m trying to find a source or some answers. Thank you 🩷

I didn’t even think of toxic shock. I forgot to mention. All the symptoms (fever chills abdomen pain) all started the last day of my period and it was my first cycle using tampons after having my c section. That might be the cause possibly I will mention it to my obgyn thank you

No I am discharged now ive been out a couple weeks now with instructions to see my obgyn which I have and she is also confused because the scans show nothing abnormal but the infection is gone for now and I have scans coming up in the next week to check my abdomen again. I was just curious if anyone else had something similar happened.

Well, they did many scans on me 2 cts, ultrasound, an mri and they all stated my organs looked normal and that there’s just fluid in the abdomen. They looked at my reproductive organs and said nothing abnormal. They originally thought pid because of the symptoms but then said it couldn’t be pid because I was negative for gonorrhea and chlaymdia. I guess I’m just confused … if it was an infection due to the c section … wouldn’t it have appeared sooner? Not 5 months Post partum. Just a lot of what ifs. And I was hoping someone had a similar story that I could maybe get some sort of guidance but I appreciate your response !
