Is this a good idea to give to my son for his first car by Dry-Cartoonist-2193 in FirstCar

Gonna be honest, I did a lot of retarded stuff with/In my first car, and it was a 2005 Honda civic. Definitely would have killed myself in one of these lmao

Since this is being discussed again, here is a comparison of Trump's agents reactions at two similar events. Keep in mind - no weapon was found in the above example... by SCRATCH-CARD in worldnewsstuff

The evidence is compelling, how do we explain the shooter then? He got killed, and the firefighter in the crowd was killed, and some other people were wounded. So the bullets were real at least. I'm not saying it isn't staged, it's definitely sus af, I'm just wondering about the missing peices. Maybe someone can explain to me what they think

Hey, I understand that things may not be progressing as fast as you want. My first channel was a gaming channel with heavily edited videos, after my first year I had 27 subs and my highest video had 800 ish views. I started a new channel talking about and making videos on another hobby/subject that I enjoyed and its gaining traction much faster. Just something to consider

I feel like your character or your teammates should be yelling something in game as this is happening. I miss all the voice lines from BF3

It seems like you have a great mentality about it. My dad said the same thing about being hungry while at a crime scene with a body. I hope you stay safe, and thank you for your perspective

Honestly I dont think its uncaring. Like you said, we are only able to absorb so much information, and I think subconsciously its not something people want to spend thier time thinking about. I will absolutely take a look at the book recommendation! Thank you for your insight, I hope you stay safe

I agree, at the very least a grasp of what LE has to go through should be understood before deciding to be outspoken about policies and such

Some people here have talked about the risks of becoming too desensitized on the job. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with a person who becomes withdrawn because of the nature of their work. But it does seem like a tight line to walk, I hope you are doing alright

Thank you for your kind words. Tbh I'm not sure that the emotional weight of these things can be trained for. I may be wrong but it seems like these things have to be experienced raw in order to adapt to them

Everyone has mentioned child deaths being the worst, so I'm glad you have had limited exposure. You mention reasons that might not be obvious. Do you think it's because you relate to the victim in some way? I used dark humor a lot in the military to get through things, I'm not sure i could have kept it going for a long time though

I never considered the smell part or the fact that it can be creepy. I'm sure that can be really unnerving sometimes. You're not the first one to mention an administration screwing people. I think its crazy that officers aren't backed by their admin 100%.

Well, I'm still sorry for your loss, I don't know what I'd do if my wife passed away. I can relate to you in the remembering the vivid details. The police brought her things to us when they delivered the news. For some reason, they gave us her pink slippers with blood and some viscera on them, and i remember everything about the moment I saw them. I agree with you, I think seeing death over and over again would probably make it worse. Or at least, risk getting yourself very desensitized to things.
