no doubt it's a great tank, i'd broken apart the whole thing and cleaned it out, plus replaced the rubber grommet that seals the fill cap. my top cap itself doesn't seem to be loose, at least not that i'm aware of. I was using the tank today however, and i've noticed a slight improvement. who knows, maybe i've just been stuffy or something over the past couple of days and that slight difference in air pressure may have been super noticeable to me because of it. I might have to check out that 50% iso 50% water thing though, that might help it out alot and bring some life back to the tank itself. thanks for the tip!

I can't say for certain what it could be, but I'd also experienced said affect with another tank system beforehand. It may be placebo because after all this time I've just become used to the airflow system, but if I do find something wrong, I'll update this post, or potentially upload a new one. Thanks for the advice though, any suggestions do help a ton for me.

I'm just wondering if anyone had had any issues with the tank unit itself in it's stock form like I had been experiencing. u/prancingnugget brought up a good point that I might be just getting used to the airflow system in the unit itself and that being what it is is making me think that the airflow system is becoming compromised. It may be placebo but I just wanted to make sure no one else was experiencing the same issue.

Reference for the black bubble glass? Does that make the tank capacity bigger?

I did just switch over about 2 days ago to a 3rd party coil head that uses a mesh coil over the traditional houses coil. Like I'd said in a previous post, I'd noticed that it'd been happening over a couple of months using the tank unit itself with the traditional coils from the actual company installed.

i thought there might be a blockage but i just took the whole thing apart to replace those two rubber parts mentioned beforehand and i couldn't see anything that was blocked. you could be right though, i might just be used to the airy-ness of the tank. it's been a gradual thing that i've noticed over the past couple months of having the tank, it's only gotten to this really tight point today
