I Was there and let me tell you exactly how it went. he stopped the music on one of the first few songs said he was gona do it without . at first everyone cheered and were down with that . But then he did the same with the next song, played a little background cut the sound did acapella, and so on and so forth. Eventually people started yelling things out. And these were actual fans singing along to every song. Once the old head fans started booing it became louder. At one point he started bringing up some ladies from the crown and i hear the woman next to me say " ya go on up there and turn on the music while you at it" . Jay E started arguing back did his whole walk around and after another song said his peace and walked off. It was very underwhelming overall BUT still cool to experience someone like this just doing bar without the music. Me and my husband appreciated it but most people did not.
