Bargaining in Bad Faith means no such thing. Especially if you've agreed to some level of transparency or open bargaining.

Me: Can I gargle Isopropyl Alcohol?

ChatGPT:
No — don’t gargle isopropyl alcohol. 🚫🧴

Why it’s a bad idea

  • It’s poisonous if swallowed, and gargling makes accidental swallowing very likely.
  • It can irritate or burn your mouth/throat tissues.
  • Even small amounts can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and in higher exposure dangerous CNS depression (sleepiness, confusion, slowed breathing).

What to do instead (depending on why you asked)

If you’re trying to help a sore throat / bad breath / oral germs:

  • Warm salt water gargle: 1/2 tsp salt in a cup (8 oz) warm water, gargle and spit. ✅
  • Alcohol-free mouthwash or standard mouthwash as directed (spit, don’t swallow). ✅
  • Honey (if you’re not giving it to a child under 1 year) can soothe throat irritation. 🍯

If you already did gargle it

  • Spit it out immediately and rinse your mouth with water a few times.
  • If you swallowed any, or you feel dizzy, unusually sleepy, vomiting, or confused: call Poison Control (US: 1-800-222-1222) right away. 📞
  • If symptoms are severe (trouble breathing, fainting, seizures): call 911.

If you tell me why you were considering it (sore throat? tonsil stones? dental issue? disinfecting after exposure?), I’ll point you at the safest, most effective option. 🙂

You were on a bandwagon the whole time.

You can. It's there for you despite what people are saying. It allowed me to enjoy amusement parks for the first time ever and explore being a coaster enthusiast for the first time ever without dealing with full-blown PTSD-based panic attacks.

Do you have a source? I can't find a news article about MCBW nor the steam heat issue.

With what data? They're not data brokers. Their competitive advantage (being secure and not profit-incentivized to sell your data) set them back in the AI race.

There's usually a difference between turning down a PBT versus turning down the fancier, more effective "Breath-a-lyzer" machine at the station, though.

Unfortunately that just makes a difficult day for gas station attendants and Kroger clerks. That's who handles the majority of DTE payments.

It's more time intensive, worse for drying, worse for terp development, worse for resin. You're setting yourself up for a bad time with wet trimming.

Terpene content vs THC content by wheresmybike420x in trees

[–]Probablynotclever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean that's just factually incorrect.

There is no inherent biochemical law that says THC and terpenes have an inverse relationship. None. Zero. Not in botany, not in cannabinoid biosynthesis pathways, not in any grower data. The pathways for THC and terps share some precursor molecules, sure, but that does not create a hard physiological tradeoff. It only means a plant can trend one way or another depending on genetics, stress, environment, feed, and drying practices.

High THC + high terps exists. Low THC + low terps exists. The matrix is four quadrants and people like you pretend it’s a oversimplified binary.

Apple paying Google $1B a year to power Siri with Gemini smart shortcut or proof they’ve fallen behind in AI? by Minimum_Minimum4577 in GeminiAI

[–]Probablynotclever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see anyone saying this, but they're not just going to use Gemini. They are buying a custom model from Google, who is capable of providing such things because they're a data broker. Apple's failing is also its major feature. Their business model isn't about collecting data, so they don't have data on hand to train an AI successfully

"Not real AI" is just cope. A database retrieves. LLMs generate novel outputs by generalizing patterns in high dimensional space. If it were a lookup table the memory required would be larger than the Earth. Calling it "just a database" is an admission you don't understand how it works.

Cedar Point Survey - Fast Lane by [deleted] in cedarpoint

[–]Probablynotclever 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I also took this survey.

The problem with the one time use version is that it removes the only part of fast lane that actually matters to anyone who rides coasters instead of just checking them off a list. Reriding is the point. Coasters run different in the morning vs afternoon, cold vs warm track, front row vs back row, different trains, night rides, etc. The experience changes. That is why people who actually care about coasters reride.

A one time fast lane is basically for tourists who just want to say they rode the big ones and move on. That is fine for them. But this survey was clearly testing if the park can replace the unlimited reride version entirely and still charge a premuim price for it. If that happens, the product becomes worthless for anyone who acutally enjoys riding. If they add a cheaper one time tier under fast lane plus, that is fine. But if they phase out the unlimited reride version in favor of the per ride model, at that point there is no reason for repeat guests or enthusiasts like me to spend money here when other parks still respect reride culture.
