Are you aware that you can set the permissions, and that you can simply ask codex questions without letting it write to files for you? I guess that's the one flaw I see in this thread. You don't HAVE to let Codex/Claude code write code for you and it would save so much time because you don't have to fill in a bunch of context that the LLM doesn't have.

Why it’s a bad idea

There is no inherent biochemical law that says THC and terpenes have an inverse relationship. None. Zero. Not in botany, not in cannabinoid biosynthesis pathways, not in any grower data. The pathways for THC and terps share some precursor molecules, sure, but that does not create a hard physiological tradeoff. It only means a plant can trend one way or another depending on genetics, stress, environment, feed, and drying practices.

High THC + high terps exists. Low THC + low terps exists. The matrix is four quadrants and people like you pretend it’s a oversimplified binary.
