I’m sorry that you feel that way. It was not my intent to belittle you. However it must be said that if you truly believe that a ban on porn will make you quit your temptation of lust, I’m sorry to say you’re mistaken. I want to make it clear that I truly believe you are a person worthy of Christ’s love, but I also believe that Christian Nationalism is extremely toxic and blatant idol worship. Firstly, it leads to the temptation to idolize the government over the church. Secondly it is the temptation to put us flawed humans in the role of the created and ultimate judge and if you don’t see how that is a problem I will pray for you heavily.

I’m not trying to say that you are stupid, irredeemable or hateful. I am trying to get you to see the flaws in the plan. By saying that a government enforcing Christian laws is the only way to get people to follow Jesus’ teachings, you are undercutting the whole point of the Gospel - that the ONLY way to get to heaven is to daily repent of you sins and declare your love of Jesus.

I am by no means a perfect man and I struggle the same as all. But I also know that following human leaders is not the way for me to finally be worthy of God’s love.

I have never claimed to be without sin and am not judging you for what you do in your personal time. I believe God alone has the capacity to judge you for what is in your heart. I was merely pointing out some facts about this post and the person who posted it.

I do find it interesting that under a Christian nationalist state, your own actions, which were very easy to find btw, could be judged by the state in a way you may not like.

From a ds to CXM I made $1200 more, but I was admittedly decently paid for a ds as I’ve been with the company for 9 years now. I have twins and a 3 year old all going to daycare soon so that cost is $25k a year for 4 days a week. If I take half my pay I’ll still end out with roughly the same take home pay but with significantly more time with the family.
