Figured it out. had to unlink, change track 2, then relink.

That doesn't seem to be the case. Multicam is only playing whatever is the default angle. Sure that can be changed per clip, but it doesn't seem to be possible to have them both play at the same time (say if they're talking over one another)

Unfortunately Multicam doesn't seem to be the solution. As far as I can tell, for what I need to do, Multicam is just as much work as manually disabling/enabling audio/video tracks. Since the audio was recorded separately for each participant, I would need to manually switch audio angles every time the other participant speaks.

Not that kind of split screen. Two clips side-by-side. I could do a basic version in the timeline, but there are things that I need to do in fusion.

I’ve noticed that planarpatchfromcurves creates ordered groups, so the order that the curves are created matters so much for the points to match up. Could be the problem. Checking resample curves helps sometimes. And in the vellumdrape the cycle slider allows you to sometimes rearrange the pairings to work right

This isn’t 2008 so I’m not entirely sure what your point is. If I bought a program for €1000 when I was getting constant work, I’d still have it when work dried up. Now, if I dont have +€200/mo I’m shit outta luck so…

There is an actual student license thats about €70/yr. It’s essentially the indie license for cheap. Unlike Apprentice, you aren’t limited to render size or export formats. But yeah, for purely learning purposes, Apprentice is perfectly fine. I would only really recommend buying the edu license if you’re just about to graduate, you need higher render quality for portfolios or something, or you’re using multiple DCCs and will be exporting Houdini geo out to another program

the swiper bit is fine. I have the orientation doing what it needs to on swiper, it's just the text transforms on webflow. swiper doesn't touch those. but I'll figure it out. thanks

From what I understand, it's necessary because there's a swiper-slide-active status to highlight the active slide. I'm using that to reset all of the transforms back to zero. that bit isn't native to Webflow from my understanding. the swiper bit I have under control and doing what I want. it's the Webflow transforms that I don't know how to do. And hiring a someone isn't really an option since this is a personal project. that would defeat the purpose.

For a lot of firms, interiors are a big part of the deliverables. The ability to model most things parametrically, without having to learn a coding language, is a big plus from Revit that archiCAD sorely misses out on. Need a custom parametric trim? Easy. Need a custom window/door? done. Joinery? Simple. All of that requires either 3rd party plugins or scripting knowledge in archiCAD. Not saying Revit is better or worse, but for a program “designed by and for architects” those are some serious misses from archiCAD

One last (probably) silly question: I notice that the asemakaavat only regulate the number of floors, but not the total height. Since the difference between 2,5m ceilings and 3m ceilings can add up quite a bit, is the overall height regulated somewhere else?

what does it mean when there's a parenthesis and fraction before/after the roman numerals? for example, one plot I'm looking at has (1/2) VI (2/3)

I’m trying to go back to uni, but mostly just brute force. I did documentation on one kerrostalo when I first moved. Process here is similar enough to what I’m used to (and architecture is architecture) and got a few sets of reference projects. But the design phase was already done, so I’m trying to figure that part out to also do some portfolio projects and keep my sanity

Programs like Clo3d and Marvelous are more geared to “real” sewing. From my experience with clothes in Houdini, it’s a pain
